Well...DS won his game...by one run.

Hurray!!

We are back from Blake's sister's house...OMG that place is a ZOO!!

She has 3 kids, 15, 13 and the new 5 year old.

Since her divorce she refuses to discipline the 5 year old and lets the others do what they want. The 13 year old girl had 3 friends over and it isn't possible for them to have acted worse! Luckily Nick had a friend coming over to spend the night so we had to leave at a certain time.

So I am home and trying to relax.

Donna...HI!!! Sorry I can't help you with the daybed but have fun looking around.

I think I am going to the mall tomorrow. I need to pick out what I want Bree to have Blake buy me for mothers day I want to look at the Vera Bradley hipster bag. I think it might work really well for WDW.

2x2s heads home this evening. I hope she had a wonderful visit with her sister's family.


Underdog:: Thanks for the apple pie. It was as good a my Mom's!! Yummm!!

Time to get ready for work and put Nathan on the early bus. The bus comes around 7:15am, but my sister says the driver may be early so I have to have Nathan down by about 7:05am.

Donna...I wll have some healthy cereal for lunch. Wow, Nathan's bus comes early. I think our bus comes around 8:15 although I usually take them around 8:30. School starts at 8:50. We actually overslept this morning. It's so dark and rainy no one woke up until 8:10.



It's stormy and rainy here today. Has anyone checked the weather forecast for Florida? I might have to go check it out and pretend I'm there! Hope all of our cliqueless friends are having a blast.

DznyFan...have you gotten over the crud? I was sneezing like crazy this morning so took a claritin D. It must be the mold because I wouldn't think the pollen would be high with all the rain. Is Erin doing any physical therapy for her knee?

Well I'll be around today doing laundry. With the internet...I actually look forward to laundry day.

Hey Michele...are you off today? Is this the day the you are going shopping for your Mother's Day gift. I sort of hinted I wanted a purse too. I need to look up that Vera Bradley hip bag you were talking about.

Good morning and happy Monday to everyone.

It is a stormy, rainy Monday here in our part of the world. Some big thunderstorms rolled in late last night/early this morning. It’s a good thing I mowed the yard yesterday.

According to lyzziesmom’s itinerary, they are supposed to be going to Blizzard Beach today. A quick look at weather.com shows that the temperature down at WDW is currently 70 degrees. Might be a little chilly at Blizzard Beach – not bad……but still pretty cool. And Ashley and Jeremiah have a pool day planned.

We had a pretty busy weekend. Friday night, Colton and Chase had swim team practice. But Chase and I had to cut out early because we had a baseball game at 7:30 p.m. Our neighbor/friend/babysitter/adopted daughter came to swim practice to watch the boys. She decided she wanted to stay and she and Colton would come out to the game after practice. So, after the baseball game, I took Colton, Chase, and April out for pizza. DW and Courtney didn’t want to meet us because DW had to wake up early Saturday morning to go in to work for a little while.

Saturday morning, DW woke up at 3:45 a.m. to go to work. So, me and the kids did some housekeeping while she was away. It was another busy baseball day. We had team pictures at 1:30 p.m., a game at 2:30 p.m., and then another game (a makeup game from a previous rained out game) at 4:00 p.m. Whew!! The boys were tired after all that.

After the baseball games, I called DW to see if she, Colton, and Courtney wanted to meet us somewhere to eat. But they had already gone. They went to Runt’s BBQ. So, one of Chase’s best buddies on the team asked us if we wanted to go to Braum’s with he and his parents. So we went to Braum’s. Then we just went home and chilled the rest of the evening.

Sunday, we decided we were going to go to see Spiderman 3 at the movie theater. And while me, DW, Colton, and Chase went to the movies, Courtney was going to go to a local place called Safari’s with grandma, Aunt Julie, and cousin Logan. Safari’s is a animal refuge place near our house – they have lions, tigers, monkeys, and other animals. They rescue them from various places. It’s kinda neat.

Anyway, Spiderman 3 was good – not great, but good. I liked Spiderman 2 better. But we saw previews of some other really good movies coming soon. I am most looking forward to seeing Pirates 3 in a few weeks.

After the movies, we came home and I mowed. DW did the weedeating – as she always does. April came over and she and the kids played and rode bikes. We were outside until almost 8:00 p.m. working in the yard. Whew!! Busy weekend!!

Today at 11am is Nathan's Cub Scout Graduation. He graduates from Wolf to Bear. It's supposed to be outside at one of our park recreation areas. It's been raining here off and on the past 3 days, I'm afraid the ground is going to be a little mushy.

Donna - how did graduation go? Congrats to Nathan!

My mother went to the hospital for a heart cath on Wed. She has been complaining of a tightening in the chest and arm pain. Her blood pressure shot way up during the procedure and they had to give her something to bring it back down. She was about to be released when she became dizzy and complained of arm pain again. The Dr. immediately rushed her in for a CT Scan to rule out any complications, but kept for overnight for observation.
She was released on Thurs. and was supposed to take it easy. On Thursday evening she calls me and is very upset. The incision has swollen and she can't bend her leg. I tell her to call 911 while my sis and I drive to her house, about 6 miles away.
The Drs. decide there is a small clot, so she is re-admitted at 11pm on Thurs. night. She was released again yesterday evening with the assurance that the clot has dissolved, but my sister spent the night with her just to be sure everything would be ok. I think I may spend the night with her tonight. She insists that she wants to keep her hair appt. for 4pm this afternoon, so one of us will have to drive her. She can't drive until Sun. afternoon.
Anyway, that was my week in a nutshell. I'm sorry I forgot what day it was yesterday!!

Hope your mother is feeling better.

I wonder if Asley will ride the Hulk ride?? It's a family fav at our house!!

Yeah, I'm thinking no baseball tonight. We were scheduled to play at 6:00 p.m. tonight. I just checked the Broken Arrow Youth Baseball website -- all games cancelled for tonight. And with as much rain as we've gotten already......I'm thinking the games for the next couple of days are going to be cancelled.

It certainly did. But I did like the special effects. Especially Sandman.
