I am so glad it's Friday!! We are going to a friends house tomorrow, but that's about all of our plans for this weekend. I just want to relax and do nothing on Sunday.

This weekend is going to be busy for me, last night I made a cake for my sister to take to work, a coworker of hers is having a baby shower. So I made her a bear cake. And tonight I have to go to a fashion show at school, my sister's major is fashion merchandising and she is going to be helping out backstage. Tomorrow me and Steven will probably see Spiderman 3. And that's it!

Donna: Unless I'm missing something, I think you're a day ahead of yourself. You had me in a panic though, thinking I missed my flight! The Cinco de Mayo will have to wait until until manana. (Just imagine the little squiggly mark above the first n - I don't know how to make it.)

UnderDog: That's why they call me the Grammar Nazi!! My old boss used to tease me mercilessly, she would say, "I cannot make a mistake, I cannot make a mistake, I cannot make a mistake!" That midnight snack was delicious, you serve up the BEST ice cream!!

Amber: Once again, gorgeous photos. I really am in awe and it puts my amateur picture-taking skills to shame. Where is that picture with the scaffolding? I can't quite place it.

This is killing me, having to sit here at work with NOTHING to do, knowing my bags are packed & I'm ready to GO GO GO!! I have to train the temp this afternoon but until then... nada. Now I remember why I always take the early morning flight -- I don't handle anticipation well at all!

I hope Ashley got off to a good start (if she's gone already). And 2x - wasn't she leaving today too? I'm going to miss talking with you guys every day - but I must say it'll be totally worth it. I'm sure I'll have tons of stories when I get back, and pictures of course! But I'm sure not as beautiful as Amber's... wow.

My SIL emailed me this morning. She said that she never was very into Disney, but this last trip (even though she was only there two days) made her realize how great it was; she actually used the term magical! She can't wait to go back and is hooked. I have another Disney fan!

Yes. She lives about an hour and half from WDW. She went a couple times when she was younger, but other than that only went with us (twice). The first time was in 2005 and she spent most of the time on the phone dealing with business matters. This time, she was able to just enjoy Disney.

Yeah, I was bouncing around in my chair at breakfast and my mom kept asking me if I'm ok. NO I'M NOT OK, I'M LEAVING FOR DISNEY IN 12 HOURS YOU NITWIT!! Alright I didn't really say that, but I was thinking it.

That is awesome -- I feel the same way about my parents. They've been before, we even had seasonal passes when we lived in Orlando back in the 80s, but they never really "got it" until our trip last year. They still act all low-key about it, but they are already asking about where we can get matching shirts for the whole family. I love converting "normal" people into Disney people!!

Warning! Warning!! Long post ahead!!!

Hello cliqueless cliquers………
It’s been a few days since I’ve been able to post.

First off, I am busy trying to learn all the new stuff here at my new job. Everything is going great so far. The people are extremely nice and the atmosphere is fantastic.

Also, I have been sick for at least a week now. Last weekend, I had a fever of 103 degrees all day Saturday and Sunday. But I still had the obligation to go coach the baseball team.

I have felt pretty miserable all week long. But the only day I stayed home was Wednesday. I tried to come in to work Wednesday, but on the drive in, I just said to myself……go home……rest.
I still feel pretty bad. I still have a horrible cough, blow my nose constantly, and still get chills once in awhile. But I will press on…….

Outside of work and sickness………..same old same old………..baseball and swimming. We have played about 5 baseball games so far this season. We started out doing pretty well, but the last couple of games the boys seemed to have lost focus. We are supposed to play tonight and then 2 games tomorrow afternoon.

Swimming has gone FANTASTIC. We just completed a set of meets that went through April and a couple of days in May. Our team came in 2nd overall in the 10 and under group and we came in 1st in the 11 and over group. Both Colton and Chase won every race they raced in during the entire set of meets.

Now…….the meets they compete in are in a rec league. And during the finals, Colton swam 2 races in which his time was faster than the minimum qualifying time for USA Swimming Class A – for his age group. I know that sounds confusing, but what it means is that he is swimming good enough that he should be moving up to a USA Swimming league. It is more competitive than the rec league he currently swims in. Plus, it will get him more recognition if he decides to pursue swimming in college – if he is good enough.

Chase doesn’t have quite the swimming ambition as Colton……….his passion is baseball. However, he is getting better and better as a swimmer, that he may make the move to USA Swimming if and when Colton does.

Okay……..now back to the important stuff………..Disney! Amber, you are blowing me away with your pictures!! They are GREAT!! I wish I was able to take more pictures when we go to Disney. Unfortunately, it is difficult to stop and take some of the shots you want to take when the kids are with us. We are planning a trip to WDW next year. It would be nice to have a day at the parks just to stroll along and take pictures.

Lyzziesmom………I am excited right along with you………..you are leaving SOON!! I go nuts too prior to going. Have fun!!

pozey: I hope you feel better soon. It seems people always get sick after changing jobs. Something about different germs in a new building and new set of people. You certainly have a couple of talented, driven boys! I know what you mean about the pictures -- I see so many great opportunities but I hate to slow everyone down so I can take pictures of what they think are "silly" things. Or the kids want to jump in the picture, which of course I love but sometimes it's just not what i had in mind. Hopefully I'll get some good ones starting TONIGHT!!
