Hello, Hi, Howdy, Hiya, and Hey!!!!!
I feel like I've been running around like a crazy woman trying to get ready for this weekend. These last minute trips are fun but I am not ready. One good thing is that if I forget something my sister either has it or I know my way around, I can run and get it. She has lived in this area of Florida before, so it really is like a second home to me.
They had the estate sale family walk -thru for my grandma and grandpa's estate on Monday night. I went over right after work. It was held between 4-7pm and I took every minute of that----- plus. I just felt that I did not want anything to go unturned that shouldn't go out of the family. I was walking around with my sister on the cell phone trying to explain what was all there. It was sad, but touching with the memories. My cousin and one aunt are very sentimental as well, so between us, we got many of the really important things. I got alot of my grandma's crystal and her dining room mirror, which I have always loved. I have nowhere to put it right now, but at least I know I have it. My sister got their dining room chandelier. This is kind of funny----my sister used to always go over and sit out on the screened-in porch with my grandma and drink coffee, so I grabbed her old percalotor coffee pot for her. The actual estate sale is this weekend, and I'll tell you what, if I were to be in town, I would be right back over there making sure those "special" things are with the family.
I did a brief read-through but not sure if I have time to comment on everything, so hi to everyone in advance and if I have missed anyone/anything, I apologize, but know that I did read.
Amber-----wonderful pictures!!!!!! What great color and angles you are able to achieve. I love the one of the blurried castle with the focused rose.
