I love the Schweti balls skit!! I will never understand how those guys got through the whole thing without cracking up laughing every 2 seconds. I've had Chef's song in my head for the past hour... good thing I'm not the type to burst into song!

Sounds like Mrs. Pozey is spoiling those boys this year, 8G iPods?? That's crazy! I don't think I would ever be able to fill one of those.

My dad is so funny, he was showing me his new phone and how it can play music that he downloaded from the computer. Keep in mind that my dad is NOT a music guy - never was, even as a teen. So he presses a button on his phone, and this hip-hop music starts playing. I asked him if that music was something he chose and downloaded, and he was like, "no, it's the free music that came with my computer. I don't have any music! But isn't it cool that I can play it on my phone?" Um, yeah dad, whatever.

I was told this morning that my folks have finished their Xmas shopping for me (which is scary because they never asked me what I wanted) and that it is "pretty major." Now I'm curious! I hope it's a Disney gift card, that's all I really need. ;)

Now......I need to find a site and start downloading songs.....

Anybody already have an Ipod? Where do you get your music? Keep in mind, the boys will want to download a lot of Disney songs. But then again.....Chase loves the heck out of AC/DC. :rotfl:

Dznyfan, there are and aren't park perks while working at TDS. Assistant Managers and Managers get a purple pass and regular part time cast members are eligible after 60 (90?) days to get three free 1 day passes to pick up at will-call. The nice thing is that they are 1 day park hoppers which you can't buy. Thats it. It used to be different, we used to get a 50% resort discount, 20 or 35% merchandise discount, 4 complimentary passes mailed to us each year that were good for 2 years and in free with our ID. Compared to that its pretty much nothing! But, I like the atmosphere and it is true that if she plans to work at WDW it looks good on the resume due to the training process!

Oh, Nicole! Have fun at TransSiberian!! I love them!

2x, prayers for the little guy!

Amber, have you looked for it on Amazon? They had it for a really good price the other day. And Mushroom hair! I cut mine short once and had to put rollers in it daily to avoid that! I looked like orphan Annie!

pozey, I have no idea where to get music. I used to download from Kazaa but I don't even know if it's still around, plus it put spyware on my computer. MSN music downloads are usually 99 cents each, but if anyone knows where to get it free, I'd like to know too! One thing I used to do is rent CDs from the library and then copy the music onto my computer. Unfortunately I lost all my music when my last computer died tragically.

Lin: that Mickey suite looks fabulous! I should show it to my dad and say, "Can we do this with my living room?" and see what kind of heart attack he has! I love the recessed Mickey lights in the ceiling, that is too cool!! It makes me really wonder what the room in Cinderella Castle looks like.

I dreamed the other night that one of us won a night in the castle on our Feb trip but we couldn't all stay in it and we couldn't figure out how to decide who stayed & who didn't!

The Mickey Suite looks.........SWEET!!

I saw a concept drawing of the entry to the Cinderellas Castle suite yesterday...but I can't remember where! I think the Mickey one is the best though! Perhaps because I love Mickey more than Cinderella! If I find it again I'll post it.

I love the Mickey suite! I wonder how much it would cost to stay there? I'm sure it won't be cheap though! I saw the concept drawing of the Cinderella suite too and Mickey's is much better IMO.

Hey Lin ~ question: I copied over the ingredient list for the spiced tea that you posted for us - but I don't have 'instructions'. I mean - it's not like you need to be a rocket scientist to figure it out but; is it one teaspoon for a cup/glass - two? A tablespoon? I want to make little tags to go on the jars, and would like to have that on it. Do you recall -right off the top of your head?

Thanks!

I spoke to FYE and they have the fullscreen version of the box set (the sale was only for widescreen). I convinced them to let me have the fullscreen version for the same price as the other. I am hoping that it gets here in time for Christmas.

Lin, I saw the Cinderella suite pictures on the Disney Insider. Now, I just need to stay there. ;)

Have you guys seen http://www.weffriddles.com? Coworkers and I have been working on these and it's driving me nuts!

I put in two tablespoons per 8 oz of water. Really, its whatever people find tastes good!

Amber: good for you for getting what you wanted! I've seen that riddles thing and I gave up quickly, it made me feel very stupid (which I'm really not!). I guess I just didn't "get it."

The Cinderella suite looks awesome! It's such an over-the-top fantasy room.

Hi everyone :wave2:

TGIF!!! This week really seemed to fly by. I'm preparing for us leaving next week and getting everything ready. I figured out a last minute gift to get for my Mom because she's been telling me how much she wants the black and red Disney Crocs. I didn't think they were available to buy in stores yet, until I saw a couple pairs of them in a Hallmark store (they didn't have her size). Now I'm on a mission to find them for her, because she would be very surprised since I insisted so much you couldn't get them in a store yet. :confused3 :teeth:

I think this weekend we are going to see either "The Pursuit of Happyness" or "Charlotte's Web". I saw the real Chris Gardner (Will Smith's character in the movie) on Oprah and it seems like a really good movie. I can't decide which one I want to see first!!

All this talk about Christmas movies...I have to say, my favorite one is "Bad Santa". It is VERY adult themed though and vulgar so just a warning if you haven't seen it yet!! I think it is the funniest Christmas movie I've seen in a long time!!

I wish I could get an 8g Ipod!! I don't have one at all. I would get one but I would only use it for the car to not have so many CD's and Jeremiah says we don't have the right radio to play the Ipod on it. :confused3

Ok, here's my QOD! Can anybody recommend some good bands/songs I can download for my long car ride?? I like ALL types of music, except I don't really like country. I'm having a serious brain fart and can't think of anything.

I am so mad right now! Lyzzie's Christmas gifts from her grandparents never arrived, her grandfather said he sent them by priority mail on Monday and it is supposed to be 2-day delivery. A little while ago he sent me the tracking number and the post office has no record of the number. Now this man's communication skills are, lets just say less than stellar. It's worse than trying to read a kid's writing, deciphering an email from him. So I'm thinking he got the numbers mixed up, or maybe didn't use the post office and used a different delivery service like UPS or FedEx. He is always calling things by the wrong names. I also don't know if priority mail (IF that really is what he used) guarantees 2-day delivery or if that is just the average. Anyway, I called the post office and they said there is no other way they can look up the packages except by tracking number, even when I explained that I think he got the number wrong. I refuse to believe that they can't look it up by name or address or ANYTHING. So... it is the first night of Hanukkah and Lyzzie has no gifts. I keep emailing her grandpa back and asking him to send the numbers again in case he got it wrong, but he's not answering. I am so glad we don't live close to them any more, they are so frustrating!! I just know that if the packages are indeed lost, it will somehow be MY fault for a) moving away in the first place or b) asking them to send the packages to my house where I'm not there to sign for them - never mind that I told them if the use a service that needs a signature they should send it to my mom's house. Ugh!!

Thanks for letting me vent. Again.

Ashley: I don't think I have ever seen Bad Santa! I remember wanting to see it, but I'm pretty sure I would have remembered if I did. I never rent movies and don't have HBO or any movie channels, so I guess I am out of luck on that one for now. One of my very favorites is A Christmas Story, or as my mom calls it, You'll Shoot Your Eye Out!! (made even funnier because as a kid, if I wanted something she didn't want me to have, my mom always told me I'd poke my eye out.)
