Good Morning All!

It's almost Friday :thumbsup2 .

Okay-- dream vacation, not disney--- African photo safari. I saw a special on the travel channel about this camp where you styed in a place along the river. It was like an all inclusive in that your meals and activities were included. You go on safari at night, morning and daytime. They also take you over to the local village to meet some of the people. I think it would also be eye opening for my son to see a totally different culture and way of life.

Amber-- great photo's. Keep sharing!!!

Lindakmonty-- I agree-- I love Cayman! The snorkeling is amoung the best I've seen. I also love how clean everything is. I think, IMHO, that Jamaica is a prettier island. Very lush, mountainous (is that a word?) . Just depends what you want to do. Any tropical island sounds good right now when it's about 20 outside :teeth:

2x- That is great about the treatments. :cheer2: I'm sending good wishes your way!

Jeff-- You are wlecome join our cliqueless clique anytime.

April-- I'm excited for you! You're going to have a great time! I've never been around the holidays but the photo's I've seen of the decorations look neat! BTW-- I love bath and body works also

Lyzziesmom-- Your mom, no shopping??? That's not natural :teeth: (just kidding)

Ashley-- Welcome back! We missed you to!

Everyone have a great day!

Oh, update on my sons school situation. I talked again with the principal yesterday. He said he believes that this one child probably hit my son with the scissors, but we just can't prove it. Without proof, we can't really do anything. My son decided that he wanted to stay in his class. The principle alerted the teacher to keep an extra close watch on this other child. Also, next year this other child will not be in the same class as my son. I can live with this so on we go :)

April - you're getting close - and you're going to Cirque!!! That's exciting! Staying at OKW again??
No. :guilty: Can you believe they had nothing at OKW??? At least that's what they told me. They said they could get me into a studio at Saratoga Springs. I'm happy I even got that because the first time I called (to change our address) and I asked the Vacation Advisor about coming down in the first or second week of December she told me they had NOTHING available. Not even in the Disney Collection. :confused3 Then I called back a few days later and spoke with a nice girl named Safron who was very helpful. I explained my situation to her (about how my points were getting ready to expire) and she put me on hold for quite some time. When she came back she said she could get me into Saratoga for the 5 nights. I took it. I'm afraid it's going to be really crowded but I've been doing my research on the best touring strategies.

We're not too worried about doing alot of the rides because of my neck/shoulder situation so hopefully we'll be ok. I do HATE crowds, though.

I never thought I'd want to stay at Saratoga Springs. It just seems so out there but ya' gotta' do what ya' gotta' do. Maybe my stay will change my mind about the place.

Well, I'm glad you were able to get a little bit of closure with the situation and that the principal does believe that this one child intentionally hit your son. It stinks that you can't do anything about it, though!! Your son is a brave kid going back in the class. Hopefully every thing will be ok now, especially now that the teacher is going to be keeping an extra close watch on the other child. And the good news is, that sub won't be back in that school!

Good Morning!

Thanks for breakfast Donna!

Amber- Your pics are beautiful! I want to go back now!

April- Yay! Your going to see a Cirque show!!! I really regret not seeing one in LV. I really wanted to see Zumanity and Love. And I am not really a big Beatles fan. Oh well maybe next time. That's too funny about your dream! :lmao:

2X- I'm glad you got your treatments approved and got a Disney gift card!

Angela- Your pics are great! That's too bad about your camera. I am in need of a new camera too. Mine doesn't have zoom and it drives me crazy!

Ashley- I'm happy to see you back!

Yolanda- I'm glad the school situation got kind of resolved.

I wanted to go back to WDW so bad yesterday that I was close to booking a weekend trip for the 15th so I could book the bounce back/dining promo! But everything was sold out or too expensive! I really hope they offer FDDP again because that's the only way I'm going to WDW this year!

Here is today's brand spankin' new Cliqueless Question of the Day:

If money and time were no object, where would you go on a "dream vacation" besides than WDW?
If money were no object..........

I would probably have to say a luxury vacation to Hawaii. Stay a few days on each of the islands. Play golf on the best courses. Eat at the finest restaurants. :thumbsup2

Amber keep those pictures coming! I can just adopt those as my vacation pictures too since we were there about the same time! :rotfl2: Of course I'll give credit to you as my professional Disney photog. :goodvibes

Donna thanks for the yummy breakfast!! Wow snow, my boys would love it. There is a threat of "flurries" here in the next few days but that just means more solid rain since we've not had a major snow since 1994. :sad2:

Ashley glad you're back, my computer (or should I say my crazy internet provider) had me off the internet for 6 days. So I feel your pain. We are without tv right now too, we are switching from direct tv to comcast and they won't have that in until this weekend. I've been listening to lots of Christmas music on the radio!

Yolanda glad they were able to work with you on the school situation, it's amazing how crazy things are at school sometimes.

Hi to everyone and have a great day! :wave2:

Good Morning All!

I had the strangest dream last night. Well, it wasn't strange as in aliens or upside down houses or anything like that but I dreamt that Lyzziesmom, the girls (whom I've never met in real life. . . that's the strange part) and I went to Key West and we were out on this big huge resort type beach with a big diving dock w/ a slide on it like you'd see in the middle of a lake (you know the kind where you can swim out to?) only this one was in the middle of the ocean. :confused3 And I was carrying Emma all around the beach (kind of aimlessly. Don't know where we were walking to. . .)but she fell asleep so I had to come back up to Lyzziesmom who was lying on this huge beach blanket under an umbrella where Lyzzie was eating this huge colorful lollypop and I kept thinking, how does she keep the sand off that thing? And I had to ask Lyzziesmom for a VERY LARGE straw sun hat so that it would cover me and Emma so she wouldn't get burned while she slept. :rotfl: :confused3 Don't ask me why I didn't just put her down on the beach blanket under the umbrella. . .

Well, I just had to share my silly dream. . . Talk to you all soon.

April that is so funny!! :rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao: It's neat when you can wake up and remember a dream so clearly. I remember having one in high school that I swore really happened the day before. It took me a few minutes to realize it was a dream! :goodvibes

Fabulous Photos Amber!! :thumbsup2

I love seeing other people's pictures of Disney. Gives you a different perspective. Like looking through a different set of eyes.

I think I recall you saying something about that now that you mention it. Saratoga is nice, their spa is great, and you can walk to DTD. But... still not OKW.

Oooh Donna, I'll definitely be having breakfast this morning! You know how much I love buffets!! :thumbsup2 I'll have a little of this and a little of that...OOh, may I have some of that please!!! :teeth:

Last night I was so whooped from my busy day that I fell asleep on the couch at about 7. I have another busy morning. After I finish my coffee I'm heading out to school to work in the library. Then I will come home and have lunch and head back to work in Madison's class. I love working with the kids watching them grow with their reading and writing.

I promised some pictures of our ornaments (Sorry their so blurry), by the way I like how ODD sounds Donna, I might have to try that! Maybe for the craft fair next year! :thumbsup2

:confused3 It doesn't make much sense does it? Am I the only one who got the letter? The funny thing is the letter came with my address and someone else's name. Since it was a name I've never heard of, we live on 459 E. *** and there is a house at 459 W. *** so we get their mail all the time ( I always send them their mail :) ) But since the letter came from Disney I couldn't resist :rolleyes1
It's a conspiracy! That's what you get for opening someone else's mail! ;) :teeth: :lmao: (By the way, I would have opened it too!) :rotfl2:

By the way Michele, I just got off the phone with Disney. I made my Vero reservations, but only studios are available. I'm on the list too for a 1 bedroom! :guilty: I'm thinking it's gonna busy while where there!!!

Well got to run! :moped: The library and all it's books are calling me!

By the way, great pictures Amber! :thumbsup2

I only have a minute, I'm supposed to be fixing reports that haven't been done correctly since JULY!! but I'm taking a break because the numbers are swimming. I just had to say, April... that is the funniest dream ever! Sounds like I was having a great time - I got to lay out on the beach AND have someone else carry Emma around until she fell asleep! And the part with Lyzzie and a lollipop... that is totally something that really would happen! I was a busy bee last night, wasn't I?

Gotta run, work to do. Hi everyone! Nice to see you back Ashley, we missed you too!!

Hi everyone! I'm new to this thread...the idea of it made me giggle and had to come and say hello! I'm going to WDW in 3 days...for my honeymoon. I can hardly contain myself. We'll be there from Dec 10-27th. Staying at the ASMo.. we're on the DDP...made all of our ADR's as soon as it was possible.. and now I'm just jumping out of my skin to get there.

P.s. Amber your pictures are beautiful! I have an older model camera.. in fact it was discontinued when I purchased it 3 years ago... but it's a HP.. 3.2 megapixel.. takes excellent pics.. my friend just bought a HP 7 MP Photosmart M627 and it is amazing how much better those are than mine.. and I love mine.. so I highly recommend Hp... : ) I'll put some pics of the trip on when we get back.

:cool1:  :cheer2: :dance3: :woohoo: :bounce:

Welcome Rhaine78 :welcome: Drop by anytime. We would love to see your pictures when you get back! :thumbsup2 Have a great Honeymoon!!!

I'm back for a lunch break. The ladies in the library gave me a beautiful homemade swag for Christmas. :)

dznyfan....Thank you! They were fun to make with the kids. We are doing some more with just the mickey heads to glue on some garland.

I bought some of those cheap glass balls in different colors and I have some paint pens. The kids and I drew the 3 little circles to make a Mickey head all over it. They turned out so cute! We also took some clear balls and I got some Mickey rubons at Michael's. We rubbed a Mickey on each ball. Then we did the Mickey heads with the paint pens and on the backs we put the year. We also filled the inside with glitter, shredded paper, and strips of paper that we wrapped around a pencil to make it curly.

Michele, no go on the WKRP DVDs. They have not been released yet. I can find them on used video for $80. :joker:

Got to get back to school! See ya later, gators!! After while crocodile

Welcome Rhaine78! Congrats on the marriage!

We stayed at ASMo last April and I really liked it. Are you going to MVMCP? We did and it was great. The parade and fireworks are worth the price of admission. We also did CP and enjoyed it. Have a great time!

Welcome Rhaine78! I stayed at ASMo last Sept. with the DDP and it was great! You'll have a great time. Be sure to check back here when you get back from your honeymoon! I have an HP camera too and I love it! It's getting old though, so I am thinking of buying a new one - still undecided on what to get.

Amber: keep the pictures coming, they look great!

Lesa: those ornaments are really cute! I couldn't quite picture them from your description, but they look really nice.
