I don't have time to catch up, you guys posted 3 pages since I went to sleep, you little hooty hoots!! We're off in a few minutes... 2xcited, I'll wave as I pass over you!! And I'll say HI to the JD imposter - wouldn't it be funny if the REAL JD took over for a day, and everyone thought it was still the imposter???
(insert biggest smiley you can find here.)
Have a great time Lyzziesmom!!
Just wanted to pop in and say hi! The contractors/painters were supposed to be out of my house
BY Sunday!! Late Wednesday night they were still there!!
But, the place looks great and I'm excited to see what it will look like with the new carpet and everything is "staged" for selling. They didn't put the shelving (with the rod) back up so my clothes are STILL on my bed (along with several other things like hats, bottles, boxes. . . We stayed at my sister's again last night but I'm going to try and buy a wardrobe box that looks like this ------->
so that I can get the clothes off the bed and maybe I'll just sleep at my house at least. I don't know.

I firmly believe that couples need alone time (and not just on our end but for my sister's sake too). My sister has been
VERY accomodating and couldn't be a better host but I also don't want to overstay my welcome. Not that she's made me feel like that AT ALL but I don't want it to get to that point. I don't know what to do because the carpet guy is coming over on SUNDAY or MONDAY to lay the carpet. In the meantime on Saturday he wants us to have all of our furniture moved out. Where to I don't know, but he wants it moved out. Add to it that we're getting hit by Ernesto. Not at hurricaine force or anything but the trees are bowing over and it's raining, raining, raining.
Anyway, at best, I'd only be able to stay at my house one night and that's tonight. We have no t.v. hooked up, no computer and no food. So, I'll probably just end up staying here again but it was a nice thought.
In not so good news through all of this I have managed to gain 1.4 pounds at weigh in this morning.

Of course, it could have been MUCH worse considering!
Welcome Tricia!!
And sadly, that's as far back as I've gotten. Hope all is going well with Michele, Linda
(by the way we now LOVE Buffalo Wild Wings thanks to your suggestion.), DznyFan, pozey, 2x2s, Nicole, Donna, Ashley
( by the way, Ashley, I think my sister posted on one of your threads under my username. Silly girl didn't even log into her own username and she does have one!), Amber, YM and anyone I may have forgot. It certainly wasn't intentional. Hopefully, I'll be able to get caught up one day. Can't promise I can comment on everything (not that you want me too

) but I do want to get caught up with the comings and goings.
By the way Ashley, I did go back to see your
crocs and read how you were amazed Jeremiah even let you buy them. Well, last Saturday we went down to Rehoboth to the outlets to clean up on left over summer items (especially for our trip) and I found crocs. I put them on and my husband OUTRIGHT refused to let me get them. He didn't care that I said they were so comfy. He refused to buy them for me and even more so if I insisted on buying them he said he wouldn't walk around with me. He thought they were the ugliest things. I had to chuckle when you said
wait, let me go back and find your post. . . . . . here it is
I actually cant believe I got a pair (or Jeremiah let me)
That's how my Steven is! He wasn't letting me.

Oh well, he ended up buying me a $134.00 pair of sneakers instead of the $29.95 crocs!
OH, I almost forgot to tell you guys the really great news!! Our realtor had been out showing a buyer a townhome when he stopped into our home to see how things were going. When he took they buyer in, the guy wanted to know how much we were asking. . . . our realtor told him $195,000 and the guy seemed shocked
(in a good way). He said, "$195,000 for all of this??? And, the land is included too? All of this for $195?" You see we have an acre of land which is a hot commodity around here. Now, your lucky to even get a 1/4 acre but we actually do have an acre. When we were pricing our home we came up with the figure of $190,000
(we were hoping for $200,000 but we're the owners and a bit more biased). We told our realtor that we wanted it priced to sell. We didn't want to give our house away but we didn't want it sitting for a long time either. We all agreed that 190 was a good price
(as we only paid $80,000 for it.) Well, the realtor forgot what we had agreed to price it at and just said $195,000. After that reaction now he (and we) are rethinking the $190. The house really does look amazing now with the new paint, we painted all the trim white (it used to be wood) and we replaced all the doors w/ 6 panel white doors and we replaced all the vinyl and we're replacing the carpets. The place doesn't even look the same. We've done some landscaping and it's looking really good. So, there's some good news in this whole mess.
I can't wait to get my digital camera!! I'd love to show you guys pictures. Unfortunately I won't have any before pictures even for my scrapbook. We're going with a Sony.
My sister has ordered it for me because my brother- in-law works for
WalMart and he gets a discount on top of the lowest price I've found. I've played with this camera and others and I think I like this the best. It's easy to use but, it doesn't have a view finder. I think I'd like it to have a view finder but it seems that all the cameras are doing away with the view finder. I guess the only time you'd
really need to use it would be when you're kind of looking into the sun.
Well, I've got to run, run, run
(the story of my life anymore)
Talk to you all real soon!!

Thanks for thinking of me.
Oh, P.S. We're not going to be Woody and Jessie. As much as I would have liked to. I just don't have the time to put into getting these costumes together. So, we were just going to wear halloween t-shirts but my sister really wanted us to dress up. She asked if she would do all the work, would we dress up? I said sure, if you want to and have the time. So, now we're going to be mouseketeers. You know, the white shirt with our names on it (but we're also going to put the Mickey Mouse Club logo on the front of our shirts), I'm going to wear a denim skirt and DH is going to wear jeans rolled up at the bottoms. I'm going to get some Mary Janes and DH is just going to wear a black casual shoe and we'll wear the MouseEars. So, what do you all think? Think we'll pass for Mouseketeers?
OK, talk to you all soon. . . .
