Every time I have been there and wandered into club cool to try it, the Beverly has been out. So, I've never tasted it. I'll try again this year, and make sure my friend has her camera ready for my facial expression.

This year, we decided it was time for our five year old to try it. She had never done Club Cool before so we were very careful to make sure Beverly was the last one for her to try. She was going through trying all of the drinks. Some she loved and others she said she didn't care for. Then it came time for Beverly. She took one drink and, without having any other reaction, slowly spit it back into her cup. I thought it was hilarious. So no, none of us like Beverly.

So you've never tried something before that was beyond revolting to you, but know there are people who DO like it? And you can't see the need for the extreme reactions. Right.

When I say extreme I'm talking about the really extreme reactions that have been posted here in the past - spitting it on the floor, for instance. I understand saying you don't like it or making a sour face, but I can't imagine a time when I would have that extreme of a reaction.

I promptly spat mine straight back into the cup, and I'm probably not your typical definition of a drama queen.
Again, some things taste so horribly foul to some people, just like other things taste bad to others.

I think it might also be because most of the other samples are sweet and flavorful and then you get to beverly and it's quite a shock. Most people aren't expecting that flavor so the reactions are more pronounced lol.

I definitely do not like it lol.

I like it but it is a sipping drink not one you drink like a regular coke. It's an aperitif and should be drunk like one, in slow sips. Most people's reaction seems to be due to drinking it like a soda. Drunk the right way, I do prefer it to some of the other varieties.

I don't think the watermelon drink is there anymore.

You can't think of it as "soda pop". I like it for what it is. I took my Wife to WDW for the first time and knew she would like it too. She LOVES it. It prompted us to find the closest available thing which is Moxie soda. We order it online now.
