Who has their Christmas shopping done and what was their best score?

I don't know that I got any crazy deals but I'm happy to be done with a majority of my shopping. Most was purchased on BF or Amazon after watching prices for a week or two.

I was happy w/my lego deals. DD is getting the seaside house for $33 and DS is getting a LOTR Mines set for $66. We'd seen it at TRU for around $100 and other places for $80. I told him he couldn't have so many high ticket items on his list since he wants several wii games. I couldn't resist when I saw it for that price so he will be surprised.

Oh forgot.. DS12 had been begging to get the lego London bridge since the summer. Slowly he's been saving. And had more than enough for his birthday last Saturday.

But last Monday he shows me it's on sale at amazon. No tax and on sale, pulled the trigger without him knowing. Then on Saturday, once he had all the money,my DW 'drove' to the store. Moshe told him she had a coupon...

One happy fellow!

I'm not done yet, but I have gotteen some pretty good deals on what I have bought so far.
Dd wanted a new ski jacket and ski pants so I waited until a local ski shop had their huge sale and got them for 50% off. A ski boot bag for $20 (reg. $60)
Camera and photoshop for 50% off each
Madden 13 for $25
Skylanders Giants for $38, now just trying to find deals on the large figures.
Refurbed Ipod touches for $129 each and a $25 Itunes card for $12.50, and another $75 worth with $20 back in CVS ECBs (that I used for a Hallmark Keepsake Ornament)
16 pc. dish sets for $18 each (not for Christmas)
I've also picked up Lego sets on clearance or on sale in the past few months that I've stored away. I have also been using my 40 and 50% off coupons for duck tape for dd.

Now everything else I have to get like gift cards/certificates and event tickets aren't things I can get on sale, but I'm very happy with all the deals that I have gotten for my holiday shopping.

Not done yet. I really haven't done much shopping for my 7yr old dd but I did manage to get her an electric scooter for 119, normally 150. My 14yr olds shopping is almost done and I got great deals with Vera Bradley - one tote normally 86 I got it for 40 so I could afford to buy her the extra large duffel bag which was aslo on sale. Tons of good deals at Hollister, jeggings were 20 bucks instead of 50. Lots of American Eagle deals and Pink by Victoria's Secret lounge wear too.

But alas, I'm far from done shopping.

I forgot about my kitchen appliances from Kohl's. After the $15 Kohl's Cash and $10 rebates on each of them, they ended up being $3 a piece. I got a crockpot (for my brother in law), blender & waffle maker.

Most of all I'm looking forward to making Dole Whips on Christmas Eve with my new ice cream maker. That will be my favorite gift!

Black Friday weekend at Kohl's I bought a Keurig for my DS for his dorm room for $39 after rebates and sales and a bunch of towels and linens for him for next year. Also bought him a large rolling duffle that was regularly $100 for only $20 on black friday. Bought myself bras that were $40 for only $16 each and some other misc items for family members. Also took advantage of the kitchen appliance deal the previous poster listed. Will donate them to the chinese auction for my DS school. When I got all of my Kohl's Cash I then spent it on a Keurig for myself.....totally free! :cool1:

16gb ipod touch (4th gen) from Target Thanksgiving eve using a giftcard deal in our area for $128 (tax included).

Also the Walmart Lego Mines set deal misprint at $40 (normally $80-90). Purchased this for both my nephew and my DS7.

I am almost done just a few gifts left to buy. Best deal was the lego mine set as well from Walmart misprint. DH got that as he asked for Legos. ;)

I have done really well and have gotten great deals on all of my gifts. I was excited to get DD the Kindle Fire HD from Meijer that gave a $30 coupon on next purchase if bought. So I had $30 free to spend so I used it for a few groceries and new Step Up movie DS13 wanted.

Now to just finish up so I can begin birthday shopping. DD's is Dec. 24th and DS11 is Dec. 30th. I love December but sometimes I wish it would just hurry up and end so I can have a day to rest. :lmao:

I am done, unless I decide to get Mario Kart Wii for DD14 (waiting to hear if anyone else in the family is getting it for her).

Some of my better deals:
Kohl's sherpa blanket- retail $49.99 (but we all know about Kohl's retail, so take that with a grain of salt) on sale & purchased with a coupon code and Kohl's cash, shipped to my home for $4.23

Rothschild dress coat- on Amazon for $48, free shipping, saw the same coat on Macy's for $180

Just Dance Disney- used $15 Best Buy Rewards so it was $15 and free shipping

Latest greatest touchscreen Tracfone- bought on Amazon for $99 and it comes with the 1 year service card. On Tracfone the 1 year service is $99, so it's like the $60 phone was free.

About 80% done I guess!!! So ready to get it finished!!! :yay:

I've gotten several good deals this year, not sure which has been the best.
DH got my new Nikon camera in a bundle with a case and a SD card for $129 on BF... I also got his new tablet for $79 on BF... & Got the kids TV/DVD combo's for their bedrooms for $89 each. Ummm also got my DH some new boots that were regularly about $69 and on sale for $20! ;)

2). 8 disc complete Harry Potter series on DVD for $10 also at Target!

The last I just got over the weekend and I would encourage others to look and see if it is still going on. It retails for $80 and the price as marked said it was on sale for $30, but I scanned it in the aisle and was floored when I saw the $9.99 price come up.

Just went to my Target to get this if I could, and they were sold out. Called another Target near me to see if they had any in stock, and the guy on the phone acted like I was CRAZY when I said it was on sale for $9.99. The one they had left was not ringing up that way. Would love to get it, but I don't know what to do.

Just stocking stuffers left to do:cool1: On black friday I got a portable basketball hoop for $100 normally $189:thumbsup2 I got a singing belle doll for $35 normally $95 also geomag set(ds loves this magnet building sets) for $40 normally $78 I got many little kid toy deals on black friday.I love being able to give great gifts and still stick to my budget:cool1: Used my kohls cash for teacher gifts:)

Not so much a deal on the gift but more how I got it -

my company gives us credits for logging healthy behaviors (working out, getting a physical, watching Elearning videos about our benefits, etc.) which can be redeemed for gift cards (not cash). I have $250 accumulated. Well, amazon.com is one of the gift card merchants - so I got my daughter a Kindle Fire and Just Dance 4 for free! An thanks to today's discount on JD4, I still have about $25 left over!

Wow. That's incredible. Makes me want to see if my company has this. There is something similar but I never really looked into it.

Wow, ours is very similar. We get $300 for being healthy, taking a "physical," and having low blood pressure. We also get $1 a day for carpooling.

The carpool money got me a $100 Target card and the $300 (okay, I'm not that healthy and only qualified for $150 MYSELF) will be in our checks in January.

But. The BEST DEAL I got was that my sister and mother both hit a financial adjustment and they decided we wouldn't do gifts this year, just a $50 gift card gift-grab ala White Elephant style. So, I saved BUNDLES this way. (They are fine really. My mom retired and had to adjust to a % lower monthly income and my sister might be relocated, so she's saving her pennies).

All I need to get is my husband's gifts (no clue what to get him) and my dad and his wife are getting a silly fun gift and I just need to buy it from the store ten steps from my office door.

All done for my kids--

Best deal by far: Ugg black boots for $5.78 at the local thrift store. They were very clean and look to have been worn maybe once. Then, my neighbor bought a pair and gave me her box. So, my 14 yo will have a great Christmas!

Great deal on BF was the Skylander Giants for $38 on Amazon and Just Dance 3 for $7.99.

The 32in tv that Walmart had on Black Friday for $150 and several movies for $1.98. The boys are getting it for their playroom.

All finished and I feel great about my deals. Two of the best ones were the 88 portable keyboard reg $400 on sale for $250 from guitar center. The other great deal was my dyson dc41 on sale at kohls for $382 and then got $105 back in kohls cash.:cool1:
