Who has the better pools? WL or Poly?

Comparing both water slide main pools and the quiet pools? Who do you prefer? Wilderness Lodge or the Polynesian?

We have not stayed at WL, but have stayed at the Poly a couple times.

The main feature pool can get really crowded. It is a great place to watch the MK fireworks. My kids were young teens at the time, they thought the slide was boring.

We enjoyed the quiet pool better.

I prefer wilderness lodge! But they are pretty similar to be honest, poiy just seems much more crowded. Poly has a zero entry in the main pool, WL has it in the "quiet" pool.

Poly has a better main pool. It's larger, zero entry and has a bigger, better slide. There is just very little shade at the Poly main pool.

I feel Poly has the better main pool because of zero entry and Better slide. But WL has more hot tubs, 2 at main pool and 1 at quiet pool. I haven’t been to either resorts quiet pools. When we stayed at Poly it was under construction, and WL quiet pool was just finished too. I’m looking forward to it in Aug.

We preferred the WL main pool. The Poly one felt so crowded, enough that the kids preferred to go to the oasis pool. At WL, it was crowded, but didn’t feels as bad.

Poly’s main pool is marginally better. Music, access to the main lobby, Close to the quick serve and trader’s sam (our personal favorite bar in all of Disney). There’s also a private pool with a bar and grill a few hundred feet away near the DVC rooms. WL has a great set up also, but haven’t stayed there to fully experience it. Stayed at poly 3 times and used the pool each stay.

When thinking about both pools at both resorts, it’s sort of a push in my mind. There are pros and cons of both.

At the end of the day, Poly probably gets the nod for us. It’s a better feature pool for our needs.

It is close, but after Poly had their large pool upgrade, it is better. Both are really fun, and I don't think you would be disappointed in either.

We've stayed at both and both have great pools with relaxing atmospheres. The Poly is our favorite overall, but we also love the WL. There's no bad choice as you really can't go wrong with either one, IMO .
