Who has the better food scene, NY/NYC or MA/Boston?

New York by a mile. But Boston’s a much more charming and easier city to navigate. Other than New England institutions (Legal Harborside, North end Italian spots like Strega, steak at Abe & Louies, fish and chips at Union Oyster House, etc) much of Boston’s popular spots are just their versions of a current food trend and many of them started in….NY.

Grand Central station...hard day of touring... and rushing to catch Hudson River line..1983... wonderful croissant 🥐 🥐 🥐 sandwich ...

And being a 1970s geek... taking the national geographic to the far corner of the library to view those melons.....all that primitive food...10 years later spilling on to Manhattan sidewalks

Well, if you are in MA you might as well just come up to NH for some real LOBSTAH. Portsmouth NH has docks where you can buy it right off the boat and they will overnight it all over the world. Cheaper too with no sales tax!!
