Who has stopped watching this season of American Idol? (might be a spoiler here)

I quit watching when people kept voting John Stevens onto the next show. I was fed up with it all. I started to give it a chance one last time then they voted off George Huff and I turned my tivo season pass off after that. Now I see who got voted off tonight and it's easy to see that America can't spot talent if it was in the form of William Hung. Plus even I think the voting now has become somewhat of a race issue. And I'm almost always skeptical when someone plays the race card but I think tonight it was pretty obvious.

I stopped watching it for the same reasons!! I could not understand how they could keep that John Stevens Guy for as long as they id and anyway I feel that him and the other one Jon Peter should never have made it to the top 10 in the first placce. Now they get rid of Latoya..... Well at least now she can start her career!

I've quit watching now because it's just too frustrating for me and I'm not big on watching a lot of TV anyhow. I know that this is only a TV show but it's hard not to get caught up in the competition.

I don't know about the results being affected by race though. I sure hope that race isn't a factor.

I still watched even after my favorite (John Stevens) was voted off. I knew he wasn't going to make it to the end, so I wasn't going to quit watching. I still liked Latoya and Jasmine so I continuted watching. I really felt that Latoya was the only one out of the 5 left that really deserved the AI title. Now that she's gone, this show is pretty much complete crap. Actually it's been crap ever since the day Ruben became the winner last season. I really thought this season could be different, but boy was I wrong. I probably won't watch the whole thing next week, because my 2 least favorites will be singing 3 songs, and I really don't want to listen to that. Here's hoping that next season will be better, and we get people that are at least half as talented as Clay.

I watch the show for fun and to be entertained. I guess some people take it more seriously then I do because I can't imagine getting upset enough to stop watching it, it's part of my crap TV line up! lol

The talented ones will ride their 15 minutes a little longer and maybe 1 out of all the seasons will have a career that will span their lifetime if they're lucky.

I love the controversary it makes it more fun to watch.

I lost interest after the 2nd or 3rd show. I just didn't really like anyone this year. I just read the spoilers on this board.

I stopped watching the MINUTE Fantasia was allowed to continue after America voted . . . WHAT are all you Fantasia "fans" thinking?? The girl/woman is HORRIBLE, she has a lousy attitude on top of that! I lost all respect for the show. If it comes on next year, I may watch the beginning episodes to get a good laugh, but that's about it!!! They discovered their BIG star, Clay Aiken, I don't think ANYONE will come close to being as good as him!!
