Who has pet peeves???

My other one is people who smoke in the seating section of a stadium/pavillion etc. Its no smoking it doesn't matter that its outside. DON'T SMOKE.

jennyL, I totally agree with you here. I also hate when smokers go outside to have their cigarettes, they crowd all of the entrances so that a non-smoker has to wade thru the smoke miasma and step around everyone in order to get inside....and by that time, you smell like you might as well have lit one up with them.

I know exactly what you both mean.. and what really irrates me is when they get miffed because my kids are coughing going through the mess..

OK my other pet peeve is a fashion one. Socks do not need to match your shirt they should blend with your pants. I'm an engineer and work with mostly men but I'm sure their wives think I'm nuts when they go home needing to by new socks but it works and I now have a better dressed office. LOL

No, no, NO, socks should match your UNDERwear...that way everyone knows what color you're wearing! Honestly, why have socks at all if they "blend"? Socks are just funky, and should stand out. The only socks that should be banned from all stores are those white tube socks with stripes at the top. My DH (who wears shorts all summer and has chicken legs) insists on buying those goshawful things. If only the stores would quit carrying them...

My pet peeve is poor spelling, especially in newspapers and magazines. I think those that make a living off of the written word should be held to a higher standard, so it really annoys me to see some of the abominations that appear on a biweekly basis in our local rag.

OK maybe for women they can be funky but for a man they should blend.

And I so agree about white tub socks or socks with sandals. Can we say tacky.

Another pet peeve is panty lines. I can't stand to see them. I've even gotten my DH in on it. The other day he was out with some friends and this attractive girl went by. They all noticed and my wonderful husband commented on how tacky her panty lines were. LOL

Spelling in closed captions. Sometimes it is so bad I can't decipher what they are saying.
Teachers that tell me they are giving me a CD of songs for my class to listen to and learn the words. My class is deaf! Give me lyrics and I will teach them to sign it. My kids aren't oral. They don't sing they sign. AGHHHHHHHHHHH!
