who has met fellow cruisers before you cruise?

My family is meeting Michellemouse's family for lunch tomorrow. Isnt that cool? We linked our dinner table together and thought it would be nice to meet ahead of time.

That is so nice imgoingtodisney! When we cruised in April 2001 we met many nice families on board the ship. We cruised again in April 2002 with BHNJ's family (who we met in 2001). We kept in touch the entire year between cruises and when our 2002 came up we booked similar rooms (secret porthole's) and also linked our dining times together. It was so nice to see them again and enjoy our meals with them. We also kept in touch with medotmom and met her family on board again and shared some MAGICal times together for the second time.

We met the night before the cruise at the Radisson. Shirley from The Perfect Gift even stopped by! It was nice meeting people we had been corresponding with via the boards for months.

We met Natsmom & family at WDW last year and had dinner at O'Hana. They are sailing on one of the cruises when we do our three back-to-back, so we have linked our ressies together so we can dine together. Should be a blast!!
When we sailed on Voyager, we "met" another couple via the phone and had a few chats before meeting in person on board.

About 10 couples on our Cruisetoberfest met at the Radisson before our 9/22/01 trip(TnRobin,Steve and Robin, DVCNuts)
we met up with the rest once on board. I will have the pleasure of meeting up with Tulirose (who we met on board) in NY this summer when I visit my family there. I have also had the pleasure of meeting several DIS'ers who were NOT on our cruise. TLuvs2Talk, Natsmom125,and We3luvDisney at Hilton Head Disney Resort, Ruvidu (when I bought a puppy from him and his wife).And PeaGreenID outside the Radisson when we were leaving,and she was getting ready to board.
This year Papa, @GoofyNut will sail with us again in Sept.along with several past cruisers we have met (so far) only on this board.
I have also "met" a person I knew many years ago while living in Florida.
Without exception,everyone I have met have been from these boards has been wonderful. I can't wait to see my "old" friends again and to finally meet (in person) the many more who will be sailing with us 9/28/02. For me, meeting these people was the difference between having a great cruise, and having a trip I will never forget!

My Dh and I met Wdwgoose and her family at Epcot before the cruise. We spent the day together and had dinner together at the Living Seas. It was wonderful! They showed us newbees around and it was so much fun.
