Can you describe what it's like? They say you can reserve it between 6 PM and 10 PM. Is it better early when there is daylight or late, after dark? The description I read said "scenic" and I worry that if we go after dark, there won't be anything to see. Unless of course you see parts of WDW lit up at night. I am planning a night out with just DH and I that night and am trying to decide when to book a PS for dinner (probably at Bistro or Le Cellier) and the carriage ride. I just can't decide whether to do dinner first and then carriage ride or carriage ride and then dinner. PLEASE HELP!!

Also, what would be the travel plan between EPCOT world showcase and Crockett's Tavern.

I'm sure one of you experts will have a good plan for this.

Hi, I haven't done this before either, but it DOES sound great. I hope someone posts soon,I'd love to hear their experience and would LOVE to see some pics!;)

We did this last Dec. and LOVED IT!! Were scheduled for the 9:30 ride, but bumped up to 8p since we were tired.

Very dark and very romantic - you wind thru a closed path or road in FW with just the sounds of the creaking carriage and hoof falls.

I'd PS dinner around 7-7:30p, then catch a bus to FW and do the 9:30p ride as I've heard the driver will head toward the beach to see the ELP.

Have fun!!!!

Yes, it's wonderful and well worth the $30 plus tip. We did this back in September, 2002, over at FW. Our ride was just at sunset and we were treated to the sight of deer and bunnies along the trails. They ask when you get there if you would like to ride through the grounds or on the walking/jogging trails. We asked for the trails.

The ride was very comfortable and definately romantic. I would do it again. Mickey

Thanks Barb. I took your advice. We PS at the California Grill at 7:20 and then a carriage ride booked for 9:30. After that we'll head to Pleasure Island. AHHH, I can't wait for a night without the kids. We'll be celebrating our 7th Anniversary 2 weeks late which will be the very first anniversary we will have been together for (DH is military)!!!

We just took a carriage ride the end of June and really enjoyed it.
