Who has better Italian fare......

....Palio in the Swan Hotel or the Portobella Yacht Club at DTD? Looking for something really good and suitable for our pre-teen kids. Thanks!

I have never been to the Swan. However, I have been to The Portabello Yacht Club many times. It has always been great! I'll be doing it again soon.

Either would be suitable for the kids.
For Italian food specifically, I think Palio would get the nod.
And the atmosphere seems a litle more Italian also--.

We went to Palio this past year, just for pizza, and they made a special effort to entertain our children. It's been a while since I've been to Portobello (1992, before we had kids!), but I think I'd have to give the nod to Palio as far as suitability for children goes.

We had our anniversary dinner at Palio last fall. What a wonder place. Great food and great service.
