I have been looking for a double stroller since DD#2 was born last month and I think I have fallen in love with the Bumbleride. I love the fact that it is all terrain. We go to the park and the beach alot in the summer and love going for walks in the snow. I also like that it comes standard with a rain cover and the car seat adapter bar. Those are extra $$ on most strollers.

Anyway, does anyone want to share their thoughts, opinions, pros, cons to help me make sure that I am making the right purchase?

TIA

I don't have the Indie Twin, but I've heard nothing but great things about it! I didn't have a need for a double stroller on a regular basis or I would have bought one myself! I bought the Flyer, and love it for our needs.

I have the Bumbleride Indie Twin. With three kids ages 6, 3 and 1, it came in very handy for the younger two when we were in Disney last April. I love that it has the rubber tires. I have used it on the beach with no problems. It has a good size canopy for shade. Ample storage room underneath. I like the side by side seats instead of the one behind the other.
There are a few things that aren't great: No trays for the kids for their cups or snacks, it's not quick to fold (we flew with it and checked it upon boarding), no parent tray but does have big pockets behind each seat. It did have a cup holder on the side but it was lost when my dh went through a narrow door and didn't realize it was even there. It takes up a lot of room when it is folded. I drive a suburban and it takes up a good amount of space. It is heavy to get into the back as well.
Hope that helps.

We have a Tike Tech Trax 360 double and have used our friends' Baby Jogger City Classic double - they are both similar in size and function to the Bumbleride. I think whichever one you like is the one to get! :lmao: We call our Tike Tech "The Blue Beast" as the all-terrain doubles are just plain BIG. We use it strictly for outdoor activities - beach, boardwalk, park, theme parks, etc. It is not indoor friendly at all. Waaaaaay too big to maneuver.

So we also have an "indoor" double. We have a Jane Powertwin which I simply adore, but if I had to buy another one today I'd get the Baby Jogger City Mini double for indoor use and as our usual "keep in the car in case we need it" stroller. The Blue Beast is kept in the garage and it only waddles its way into the car when we're going someplace we'll be able to use it.

I think all-terrain doubles certainly serve a purpose but don't be surprised if you find that it's not perfect for everyday use, unless you only need a single for indoor use in which case you may be fine. :goodvibes

We don't have an Indie Twin, but we do have an Indie, and we love love love it! Great for times when my daughter will be in the stroller for a long time, and it feels like you are pushing nothing. Also has an adjustable handle, which is great for a tall hubby/short wife combo like us.
