The hairstyle and the fish are sooo popular is my area!!!! Seriously!!!!
Niceville (a couple of towns over) has an anual Mullet Festival each October. We even have a Mullet Toss in Orange Beach!!!!!

My favorite food is fried mullet, bakes beans, and cheese grits

Definitely! After the whole mullet thing grew out, then it was perms, perms, perms! Tons of mousse, blow dry with your head hanging upside down, then spritz the he!! out of it, flip hair back, scrunch hair while spritzing more liquid glue into hair until maximum fluffiness achieved.

I personally didn't but my first boyfriend did...it was in 1995!!! I have to defend him though it was pretty short and curly not too long and he was a hockey player. Please don't flame me for saying that but it is part of their culture!

Ok had the mullet in the early 80's and then the big, permed, aquanet hair in the mid to late 80's. I am ashamed to admit that I did contribute to the ozone problem with the amounts of hairspray I used. I swear, bullets could have bounced off our hair then.

I am actually training an 18 yr old kid that still is wearing a mullet. He is nice looking and seems like a really good kid but his hair is so distracting to me, I want to tell hm to come nto the 21st century.
