Who got a AAA rate at ASMu suites Nov 30-Dec5?

I"m trying to book through AAA for ASMu suites Nov 30-Dec 5. It's value season and the 20% off would really make the deal sweet! AAA says that their block of rooms for that time are full. I really find that hard to believe - it's still 8 months away. The agent couldn't tell me how many rooms are actually available at AAA rates. Does anyone know? Also, if you were able to get this discount, how far in advance did you book? Thanks!

There aren't that many music suites and when I called a month ago for the Oct 27th- Nov 2nd they were all gone...not just discounts, but just all gone.

This previous post was not for your dates, but was close enough to your dates to show you what another DISer posted having booked last January 10 for their December stay. Guess maybe a lot of people did book way ahead this year:

Just booked ASMu Family Suite for 12/6 - 12/12/08. I got AAA discount of 20%. Sounded good to me. What do you think?

I don't find that hard to believe at all. There are only a handful of ASMu suites available for the thousands and thousand of people that call and try to reserve them. Also, ASMu suites and other Disney suites, aren't always available for all discounts. For example, ASMu suites have never been available for the Free Dining discount in September.
