Who gets mailed a thank you sketch (I've stayed at WDW resorts & didn't get one)? are certain characters mailed to certain resorts/bookings?

Once I received a postcard with the fab 4 standing in front of the Castle holding a banner that said we miss you . I treasured that because I happen to collect Disney postcards.
I would love to receive the sketches .

We did 4 Disney trips from the end of 2018 to the end of 2019 and received the same Mickey one for each trip.

I travel to WDW often and get FAR too many of those sketches. When each one comes (usually Mickey or Dumbo), my husband and I look at each other and say "what a total waste of money" and toss them away. I wish I could pass them along but they always say the family name. My adult DD's who travel with us sometimes also get them and think it's a waste also. Wish Disney would put the money elsewhere. As in drop prices of AP's and tickets.

(We are DVC members and always stay DVC so maybe that makes a difference as to why we get).

Can the name be cut off the bottom? sliced nicely and it might not be a perfectly symmetrical sheet but than somebody can keep the sketch?!

We got a Mickey one for our trip last Summer but didn't get one for our 2017 and 2018 trips.

I can't remember how how that family name is as I toss them out so fast. Had they been other characters other than the same two over and over, I might have thought of that. Though I know no one who would be interested. I suppose I could post next time and see.

I go several times a year, usually at All Stars, and always get one- I’ve got a few of the characters .
This is the latest one - I suppose you could cut off the name.

We get them after every trip. (I think I have 5 or 6 up on our fridge). I book a Bounceback with a package including a meal plan every summer for the following summer. We have never gotten a pin code though.

It must be random. I got one after my September trip. We had 3 separate reservations and I was the only one to get one. My sister didn't get one and my Dad didn't either. I haven't gotten one since 2015, so I thought it was because of who I booked through from 2016-2019, but then when I got the Mickey, I guess that had nothing to do with it.

Never really knew what to do with them after awhile . Just tossed them.

I like your picture regarding the parking fees. I hate them too. Anyway, yes, occassionaly I get the sketch, it's usually Mickey Mouse....and I honestly don't know what to do with it. I'd rather get a coupon for a free snack for my next visit.

What?!?! This is a thing? I've never gotten one. They just come in your mail after you've arrived home? I would love that. I go about once a year and stay at all different resort categories, though most often Value.

We always get our family thank you sketches. I Love them! No idea why but last ones I recall were after Animal Kingdom, Port orleans Riverside and sport Orleans FQ.
