We usually go through a period of near mourning after we leave the World. In fact it usually starts on the last day in the parks and gets progressively worse upon packing and leaving. Then it carries over for quite some time afterward. We are now 6 days post-trip and still are in a funk. Based on past experience, this will last another 2 or 3 weeks minimum. The only therapy seems to be planning the next trip, but that only helps a little. Just wonder if we're the only ones. I suspect we're not.

it is hard once you get back to the real world, i have trouble even looking at these boards if we are not planning another trip - i get jealous! i have a feeling this will be my last trip for a while, DBF likes traveling to different places
But, we've already begun the plans for next year's visit. Thank goodness for the DIS Boards - they're an inexpensive form of therapy for the Post-WDW/

Isn't that crazy? Oh well. That's why you continually plan trips, or at least get to doing something to get your mind off it!!!
