Quick Question. Who gets tipped at a Disney wedding?

Here is a big list but Im not sure if they all get tipped since some of this is like a package deal. What did y'all do?

-hair and makeup
-DJ
-Bartender
-Caterer and/or Banquet Manager
-Clergy ($20)
-Photographer
-Videographer
-Limousine Driver
-Cake Decorator

*I figured 15% for all. Sheesh that would add up wouldnt it. :scared1:

Also, Im doing a
-gift for planner
-gift for florist

Any suggestions for this?
Many thanks in advance everyone.

I think I remember reading that if they own their own business they do not get a tip. So if you are using an outside photographer and videographer they don't get tips and I guess whoever is doing your hair and makeup doesn't either. BUT, I may be totally wrong on this. Also, I don't think a lot of Disney employees are supposed to accept tips but I may be wrong on this as well.:confused3

-hair and makeup - Tip if not proprietor
-DJ - Hmmm... Not sure
-Bartender - I wouldn't tip/ you are already getting charged a 'service fee' I think
-Caterer and/or Banquet Manager- I wouldn't tip/ you are already getting charged a 'service fee' on top of all your food etc. at 20%!!!!
-Clergy ($20)
-Photographer - I hadn't planned on tipping mine as you do not tip proprietors
-Videographer - I hadn't planned on tipping mine as you do not tip proprietors
-Limousine Driver - Tip
-Cake Decorator - You won't even see the cake decorator

Also, Im doing a
-gift for planner - can accept gifts but not tips
-gift for florist - I don't think this is common but would be a nice gesture

Yes I was planning on gift cards for my planner and florist (Rose has gone the extra miles for me so I would like to.) Granted, i have no idea what to get gift cards for. Suggestions? Orlando restaurants the are yummy?

Ok so the remaining questions are:
-Tip the Disney DJ or not??
-Do we tip a Disney Videographer?
-Just to be sure...I do not tip Randy Chapman then?

Thanks everyone

We tipped the photographer, beautician, limo driver and of course bought our wedding co-ordinator a gift. We didn't give a tip to the videographer or officiant.

Is 15% the going rate for tipping?

I'm not very good at this being a Brit!

15% is usually what I tip but you don't have to tip somebody who owns the business

Thanks for all the help everyone.

Yes 15% seems to the the average rate. I looked at all the online etiquette recommendations that that was the number that came up almost everytime. Some say that 20% is good if the service is oustanding. My budget isnt going to allow anyone's service to be outstanding. All are getting 15%.

Thanks again :worship:
