Thank you ALL for the BD wishes, and songs , for Kelly. She's had an unbelievable 2 days, and loved EVERY gift she got. Read more later though.....

Kim!!! Are you having a party at home tonight for Kelly?? More cake?? Presents???

What did she get for her birthday anyway. I don't know what girls that age like anymore.

No party, we went out because Kelly wanted STEAK! A petite filet mignon no less! She brought cupcakes and goodie bags for all her classmates, and a couple extra cupcakes for her 'special' teachers. She received SOOO Much stuff!!! It's like C'mas here, and not a mini-C'mas, a full-blown C'mas! She received various Barbies, 5 I think, a Disney Princess on Ice (Barbie-like), some Polly Pockets and accessories, more Disney Princess Polly Pocket-like toys, a Barbie fashion head thing, some clothes (she's wearing one outfit tomorrow, and can't wait to wear another dressier one ASAP), a C'mas book, a candle making kit, a My Pretty Pony toy, a Barbie Princess CD player, a Bella Dancerella ballet thing, with a tutu (can't believe my BROTHER bought that!), a B&W Barbie TV for her room, a DVD............that's just what I remember. Did I mention she got SOOO Much stuff???? That's where we get to the good part...While talking with my Mom (Kelly called to thank her), I was mentioning having to return some items because she just got SOOOO Much, and C'mas is 2-1/2 weeks away!!!! MORE stuff! Soooooo, Mom mentions Toys for Tots!!!!! Thank you Mom!!!! The last thing Kelly needs is to return some items for MORE items, so I talked with Kelly at bedtime tonight, and she agreed to donate her extra (overkill, imo) to Toys for Tots. We're very proud of her...can you tell????? That reminds me, I told her I'd look up the nearest donation site and let her know in the morning. Better go look!

Brag over. Nothing more to see here folks. Back to the business at hand.

I am glad that Kelly had such a good day. Wow, you are right a lot of gifts and close to Christmas. Is there anything left to get her for Christmas

I can tell you are proud of Kelly willing to donate some of her toys to others. That is very nice for her.

At one time I used to help out with the Salvation Army Toy packing at Christmas. My friend was in charge of it and asked me to help her. We had a blast. One year we had to go out shopping and pick up some extra stuff because we didn't have enough. That was fun

I liked packing up the toys for the kids. We were given a card with the ages and sexes of the children in the family and then went around our tables of toys and picked out what we thought they might like to have. We have some quite large Mexican Mennonite families in our area, it was fun "shopping" for families of 7, 8, 9 kids

That sounds really cool Robin! I kinda wish we 'knew' where Kelly's toys were going, but she's happy knowing another child will have something, rather than nothing, and I should be, too.

And yes, Robin, there are actually a couple more things on her LIST that can arrive for C'mas. All the OTHER stuff though, I don't know.

Oh, she also received a phone call from Cinderella before we left for dinner! BIG Hit!!!

Hi everyone! Hope ya'll had a great night! You were very quiet! I figured there'd be a couple of pages! Well, DD left her digital camera here and I got a picture of the tree. Unfortunately, she didn't leave the wires to download the pics, so it'll be a bit - still! We're meeting for b'fast on Sunday (just as sister's weekend breaks up) and we'll get the camera to her then. So....next week?

The pic I took last night was fuzzy - her old digital doesn't have a flash, so they aren't really good pics, but the day time one was clear.

Well, we walked this morning and went to b'fast. I've got to get the house cleaned for sister's weeknd - since Saturday night is here!

Wow ...Ok how did you manage that?......Now that would really get Victoria and Elizabeth hyped for WDW...There birthdays are in Feb...the 11th...thats their dads (Dougs) Birthday too...he got twins for his birthday that year.............and pays for it every year after that! ..So come on out with it whats your trick?...please!

..Well its been a long day...Just got in a little while ago....nothing big ...just took alot of time..Took my mom to the hairdresser, ..mailed some stuff.....did some MORE christmas shopping....Just stuff

Tomorrow I food shop...Then the weekend Oh and I get to go out to dinner tomorrow night ....I like it when I dont have to cook .....
speaking of cooking I better get my lasagna in the oven.....

DalPal - you ARE busy! Hope you were able to get everything done! Yummm...I LOVE lasagna. It was very VERY hard to give up Pasta when I went low-carb. Especially after 3 years living in Italy!

BrerPapa - how ya doin' buddy? You're gonna have SUCH a great time in WDW you won't even miss us! Tom and I talked about you and your laughing place while we were in line at Splash Mountain, throw a penny in and make a wish for all of us TKers! Please give Ernie & family our love while you're down there. You stay safe, have a wonderful time & listen to EVERYTHING Princess Ariel says.........she's in charge........okay?!

Hi wendy, mamajoan, everyone else! I didn't get as much done for sister's weekend as I hoped....so I've got to keep working! DH came home, so I couldn't just start wrapping presents in the middle of the living room floor!

The RV s being given the once over bya mechanic nephew...so...that's going well...a little preventative maintenance you know.....
