Well Robin, I have laundry to do today, so I popped on for a few minutes. I think I'm gonna take an exercise tape upstairs and work out up there today. That'll get me out of the basement for a while!

Now, I have to admit, I LOVE Parmesan! I was lucky enough to live in Sicily for 3 years and there is nothing like a good hunk of parmesan.

I used to order mine from Balducci's in New York (best outside of Italy), but they discontinued mail order. So, now I just hunt around. I'm thinking about trying my hand at making it, but I'm not sure I want to invest 18 months yet. I'll let you know.

Lunch was delicious. We went to a place called Sorbello's. A very nice young lady we knew in Sicily married a Sicilian (cutie pie, at that) and when they returned here of all places, they opened up the best Sicilian restaurant in town.

The Parade of Homes was lovely - lots of decorating ideas. had a great time with my friends.

Well, ya'll take care and I say buy a good hunk of Parmesan (for goodness sakes - don't touch the stuff in the green can - it isn't even real food!) grate the stuff by hand and give it another try!

Well....back home...fresh from the Cherry Festival...had a great time...

Both Kids and ALL the Grandkids showed up....DMIL with us... a real good time...

now I sit here....tuning my old guitar....

Seems we had quite the subject going....squirrels...
.....you have to remember...I'm a country boy...born/raised...game meat was something I grew up with...

passed it down to my boys...WishingStar is such a girly-girl...but she's tough...a survivor...if she ever had to....oh well...

anyway...guitar is tuned...

now...because you got grossed out...and I heard more "ew's" in the last 24 hours since the time I was at a restaurant and a hairy overweight guy split his britches with no drawers on...
