Aaaah....the time will fly by...then there you'll be...kicked back....relaxing....some liquid refreshment with the required umbrella.... all the onboard activities... sounds G-R-E-A-T!!!!

Before I know it I will have been on the cruise and come back home again. Time really seems to fly by the older you get, doesn't it!

Kim, you should be able to drive after oral surgery if the doc just gives you a good strong local... depends on what he gives you for pain relief to take by orally while you are at home. At 2pm you probably will still be numb. Hurray for Novacain!!

I have learned not to scroll thru this thread toooo quickly as I sometime misinterpret things I thought I saw..

ie: while speeding thru this page I THOUGHT I read the last post by BP to say he had some liquid refreshment while eating a squirrel...... in reality it was actually something about an umbrella.... sillyjoan.....

Robin, DS is 16-1/2, and at this point, I can't imagine any ulterior motives, car wise anyway, since he needs an ADULT licensed driver with him until he gets his own license. He really IS just a good, very considerate young man. And, I'm blessed to have him.

So, Preview Reply will show siggies?? How cool! Even cooler that you have 180 days to go!! I'm green with envy.

I LOVE your pill reference!!! That's an oldie but goodie. BP, 'pill' as in hard-to-take. Although, I think these days it's meant much milder and light-hearted than it used to be.

Kim, my daughter is 17 and 2 months and has not even gotten her license yet. She likes mom to drive her places I think I am glad that your son likes to help his mom. When I see things on tv and say to my son (20), are you going to be nice to your mom when I get like that??? He just gives me this funny look, like, yeah, right Mom ?!?!?!?!?

DS-16 soon to be 17 is a good kid... he goes on errands for me all the time... but then I do pay his insurance....
He wishes he could drive our jeep but his feet are TOO BIG!! He ends up stepping on the gas/clutch or clutch/brake at the same time. He drives a '94 New Yorker and he likes it.. it is big and comfortable.. when asked if he minded driving such a big car.. He laughed and said "No way.. I like it.. it has leather and a slammin stereo!"



Someday I am gonna sneak you into Nordstrom's Kim... I promise to bring a paper bag for when you hyperventilate from the sticker shock LOL! Hec I almost fell out of my w/c when I flipped a tag on a simple dress and it said $1200 OH MY!
