The problem is the time constraints that we have. We can't be away from the business for too long and making it a long weekend makes it easier to get away.

I have never been to Chicago before, but I have flown over it a few times . It looks very nice at night with all of the lights I might come to Chicago to one of the DIS meets there some day. They sound like fun!!

Maybe you are right about those lurker sweepers.

It was such a shock, of course no one was expecting anything like that. She even posted on the day that she took ill.

Just goes to show just how short and unpredictable life can be.

Hi guys.... Mamajoan.. checking in!!


It has been a bit wild around the ranch... still working on the new meds for dd-14, she has been wearing me out lately.. whew!.. been to the docs twice in the last week once for her and once for ds-17.. Jake has a really nasty ear infection.. ouch....

California has lots and lots and lots to see and do!
I lived in So. Ca and now up here... but have not been to DL in about 7 years. Would love to go back to WDW... but never going to Florida in the summer again.. the weather is too wicked for me.

So you all come out to Ca. for a visit anytime!

Dh and I are trying to plan our 25th Anniv. for next year. Everyone we talk to would like us to Renew our vows in Vegas....
I am not convinced about doing it there as of yet.. we shall have to see, I am researching it a great deal.

I am a fan of Reno and Vegas... yup I like to gamble.. but I am thrifty about it. Reno is about a 41/2 hour drive from here, so that is where we like to visit.

YOU are the 1st reason I'd visit CA, even though I don't think I could handle the flight! 2nd would be DL.

Hi everyone! Well, Tom is finally boarded. Because of the storms up & down the east coast, his flight and carrier were switched. Instead of going to San Diego via Dallas, he's going via St. Paul, MN!

I'll miss my hubby, but I'm going to b'fast tomorrow (my indulge day - higher carbs - once a month) and the movies. Then I'll be plenty busy with the two hurricanes heading our way. We're out of the direct path, but still, with hubby gone and watching my folks house for the summer (they summer up north) I'll be busy incase they take a turn for us. Wish me luck!

Tom will have a wonderful time visiting family, but when the Gov. or Florida declared an emergency for the entire state and activated the national guard with the two hurricanes coming, he wasn't thrilled to leave. We've never had back-to-back storms like this....I only pray they don't collide!

Take care ya'll and keep your fingers crossed that BrerPapa is okay and returns to the threadkillers soon!
