Whew! This is sooooo much fun!

Ernie just found out tonight that he has the whole week except Wednesday off work to be with us....

that's why we're doing all this so late....

we had our reservations for the all-american BBQ and horseback riding already...

hmmm...a couple other things too....

BUT!,....some other stuff was depending on when he was off so we knew how many people there would be....

Here's my theory for WDW shoes (did you know I have theories for lots of things?). Everyone in WDW - well, most everyone - does NOT wear their "regular" shoes. They wear sneakers!

The change is bright, comfy, sneakers! Everyone - well, most everyone - changes when they step through the gates of WDW.....why shouldn't their shoes?

I usually wear flip-flops, but I don't wear them to WDW.

I take care of two things in WDW.......my feet and my soul!

BrerPapa - show us the shoes of your family......and if you can - capture a little piece of their soul on film for us, too!

Good Morning Everyone!

Robin....If I didn't wear flip-flops every day (that's warm), I would wear sneakers, if I could get away with it! You're the best! Glad the tap dancing is going well. I actually took piano lessons (another story - no thread! - here). Anyway, since I was an adult taking these lessons for personal enrichment, I explained to her that there was NO WAY she was going to get me to perform as a recital and to let me know if this was a problem........cause I'd find another teacher before I got on stage with a bunch of six year old's playing the piano! This old girl don't DO recitals!

Kim - that princess call is great. I checked it out myself! I imagine every little girl would just love a call on her birthday from a real princess!

Hi Cally, nice to see you again! Come back and spend some more time with us! We miss you! How are the Christmas preps going?

Betsy - I loved the lightbulb post! Someone really put some thought into that one!

BrerPapa is on his way.....let's have a girls party! Ya'll start without me and I'll be back on Sunday evening! I'm headed off to get some stuff done before sister's weekend. I did get a lot of wrapping done, so you can actually sleep in the guest bedroom (as soon as I make the bed!).

This OLD girl did do recital though.

The teacher always wanted me to play duets with her. One time we played "Beauty and the Beast". Turned out very well, if I must say so myself

Robin, you know when you go to a concert and everyone is clapping and you can here ONE person who is off beat? Well, that's me! The first Christmas I was taking piano lessons, Tom asked the teacher what he should get me. She replied promptly, "A Metronome". Well, even that didn't work. Finally the teacher approached me - very nicely - and suggest I pursue other creative avenues. I can hear the rythym in my head, I can sing it, but I can't translate it to my hands. My next musical instrument.........I wanna play the flute. Tom flatly refused to get one for Christmas!

No, we weren't out of food this time Ann. But I wanted to get some major shopping done before Chrismas. That is so I don't have to go again until after we get home from Florida on Jan 9!!!

I may have to pick up a few things for Christmas dinner. I don't even know what I am making yet!
