Who else would like to see a DDP with alcohol beverages?

I enjoy a cocktail or two with my meal.

Maybe they could add on a $$ amount to the plan if you would like to add alcohol to your meals.

Possibly it could include two alcohol beverages per day....

would that be possible?

or might it be just too much trouble keeping track
especially with minors trying to purchase package

The 21 year old drinking age while Disney considers a 10 year old an adult would be one problem. (Of course it would give a new meaning to sharing credits!) Also that MK is dry would be another issue.

Personally I think they should sell the refillable bear mug in Epcot first.

The only way I could see this working is if you could substitute your TS dessert for a cocktail or beer. I doubt Disney would ever feel it's in their best financial interest to do that, though.

If you're going to pay $15 more to add 2 drinks onto the DDP, why not just pay $15 more OOP to be able to get 2 drinks in addition to the DDP?

Get the Disney Dining Experience card and save 20% on everything including beverages. Defintely worth the money with lots of options. You can eat at sit down restaraunts for the price of counter service in many cases and have good food for lunch and not just a sandwich.

Do you still need to be an AP holder to get one?

I guess it is, I never realized that because I am an AP holder. I was thinking that it just got me the discount on buying DDE and not a requirement. We love it because of the way we can split meals and use it as we need to, not HAVING to buy as many days as we'll be there. I think we'd have days left over that we'd lose. DDE let's us get a good discount, eat at good table service restaurants, and if we want to head up to Margaritaville or Hard Rock, we don't have days left over. We ate at LTT last weekend and bought only 2 lunches for me, DW and DD3 and split between us and the bill was pretty cheap for 3 people to eat at a table service for lunch.

Bummer. I went with a friend who is an AP holder a couple of years ago. We saved a bunch with her DDE card. Especially at CG. I'm going again with another friend next month who is not an AP holder, and we will probably do DDP. I'd much rather have the DDE, because I just can't see eating appetizer, dinner, dessert and a couple of drinks.
