Who else thinks the walk to Canadian Customs at Pearson takes forever?

Is it just me or am I the only one who thinks that once you fly back from the United States into Toronto Pearson International Airport that the walk to Canadian Customs takes forever?

I also think the luggage at Pearson takes F-O-R-E-V-E-R to come out

Coming back from Europe I was surprised not just on how long the jaunt to customs, but how long we had to wait for luggage! I mean, we were the only plane to wait in the baggage claim area for what truly seemed like 1/2 an hour!!!

I have found baggage claim at Pearson to be ok in terms of when the bags would start coming out. As for when your own bags would show up, they could be one of the 1st (after business class passenger bags which come out 1st if flying Air Canada or United) or towards the very end. Most of the times my families bags come out towards the end which make for some tense moments, however we are relived once we finally see them.
