Who else saw Spirit of the Marathon last night?

I really liked it! I thought the journey's of the various runners flowed together, and was not as choppy as a lot of documentaries. I got emotional through some of the ups and the downs. The injuries really got to me. I felt like I was there experiencing it all with them. The nervousness, excitement, joy, disappointment, pride.

I left feeling pumped to sign up for a marathon. I keep talking about it. I just need to do it.

I don't know if you have checked out the weekly thread but a bunch of us posted our thoughts and impressions of the movie over there. I almost started a new thread when I got home last night. Good idea.

I didn't want you to miss out on what everyone had to say. :)

Gosh @!$*(#*)(@#&%@!*&#*!!!!! I MISSED IT! I meant to write it on my calendar and it was only playing one day in the theatres near me. :guilty:

I saw it and thought it was great. I was surprised to find out that it was about the 05 Chicago. I kept thinking that it was going to end with nobody finishing because it was the 07. It is something that will serve as motivation the night before a marathon. It will be sort of like watching Rocky or Rudy.
