For those that seen Spectromagic, am I the only person who loved and really miss the Spectromen (The guys on the trumpets, spinning balls, and the title unit). This might be the only reason why I missed the parade so much. I don't know why but, after they all say "Electric" a few times. I always loved the short little tune they hum for a few minutes.

Here's the tune in question, starts from 5:00 mark - 5:13

I will to but if you go to WDW you know things are changing, some we love some breaks our hearts. Danny

I saw Spectromagic the first time I visited WDW in 1994 and have the trumpeters on an old VHS that we recorded there! That parade was special to us, as the first time we experienced Disney "magic". I love the trumpet tune and it instantly gives me the warm fuzzies to hear it!

The little men freaked me out, BUT, our family LOVED that parade's music. We can only tolerate the ELP synthesized music for so long before we gladly leave and ride some rides. I know people love the ELP, but it's not a favorite of ours.

I don't miss them at all. I thought they were freaky, put a horror show feel to the parade and I have never been able to understand what they were all about. Why the plastic, chain saw massacre, face persona.

They were really cool! I could see how they might frighten little children though.

Still, Spectro was a far more enjoyable parade IMO, love the soundtrack.

Yes I miss Spectromagic and those guys. Like a previous poster said we saw Spectro our first trip so it has a sentimental memory to us. Still love the music!:music:

I saw Spectromagic on my first trip to WDW, and it will always be my favorite. It has a warm place in my heart and it really had that Disney magic feel to it. I think of it often when I think of Disney. I remember those guys very vividly and thought they were awesome! Thanks for the memories!

Another Spectromagic fan here. I miss everything about it so much, especially the Spectromen. And the music just made it so extra magical. I really enjoy MSEP, too, but Spectro seemed to have a more warm, sentimental vibe.

Never saw it, so I can't really comment, but the video didn't do much to excite me.

We miss the whole parade. Hands down our absolute favorite entertainment at WDW. We are really not fans at all of MSEP and almost never watch it.

I'm a fan of both, but Spectromagic has a very Disney feeling. Especially the music, and leaving the park after the parade and fireworks still get to me.
