Who else has never used a lawn mower?

I've read a couple of lawn work posts and it made me wonder. Who has never used a lawn mower?

I'm almost 38 years old and I have never used a lawn mower.

You don't know what your missing! There's nothing so much fun as emptying wet grass clippings!

I'm 34 and never have, either, but I'm allergic to grass and get severe sinus headaches if I'm outside for too long when someone's cutting grass nearby.

Poor, poor me. My brother was always soo jealous of my allergies.

I use a ride on mower, and have managed to start up my weed whacker on a few occasions. I have never used a walk-behind mower, and honestly couldn't figure out how to start mine last summer. I gave up. I don't feel like I'm missing anything.

It's becoming a problem for me now, though. I just moved out of my parent's house and have my own yard now... except I can't mow!

Add me to the list~I'm 47 & have never used one! I grew up with 5 brothers who helped Dad outside with the yard work, while I was inside helping Mom cook to feed all of them.

I haven't either and have no desire to ever learn. When I was little I touched the lawn mower with my hand right after my dad turned it off and it really burnt my palm and fingers. I'm actually a little bit afraid of them !!

DH loves to work on his lawn ... so if there ever is a day that he can't do it, I will hire someone to cut it. I won't be doing it!!

Me! I've never used a lawn mower. I can't even be around one when they are in use -- allergies.

I am another one with allergies...freshly cut grass gives me asthma attacks, so I'm 39 years old and have never used a lawn mower. I have only actually seen DH do it a few times too because he usually waits till a time I am not home so it won't bother me.

I have never cut a blade of grass. When I was growing up that was "men's work" around my parent's house and my brothers got that job.

I'm 33 and I have never used a lawn mower. Currently we have a lawn service.

My Dfi hasn't. She drove my riding mower (not cutting!) once about 10 feet before I made her get off.

I am 32 and I just used a lawn mower for the first time last week.

I researched the lawn mower. I bought the lawn mower. I picked out a snazzy electric one as we have a tiny yard. I think I have used it twice in the past 5 years.

However, do a fine job of nagging my husband to mow!

I'm 48 and have never used one. In my parent's house there were girl's jobs and boy's jobs. Girls's jobs were anything inside the house. Boy's job's were taking out the trash and cutting the grass. There were 3 boys and just one girl. They didn't offer to help me with any of my many jobs inside, so I darn sure wasn't going to do their jobs.

Now it's DH and DS's job. My goal is to never use one.
