Who else already has airfare bought for Aug/Sep and what did you pay?

I booked Airtran September 23rd to September 30th for 3 people for $531. I was too nervous to wait on SW!

PVD - MCO August 31-Sept 4. I could've paid $261 for a nonstop flight on Southwest, but instead I decided to save some money. I paid $156 for the roundtrip (1 stop each direction) on Delta. I do have a rapid reward award flight that I'll be able to use in case of emergency (Delta ceasing operation), but I'm hoping all will go well and I'll be able to save that for my food & wine festival trip.

Akron to ORL Airtran - 4 people 850. 8/12 - 8/19 Non stop departure and 1 stop on our return I paid $89 one way plus tax because I wasn't sure if fares would be any lower!

I just booked our Aug 15th thru 23rd trip on Sun Country MSP to MCO non-stop $217.10 per person. I have been watching the rates and today is the first time I have seen them go down. We have always had very good luck with Sun Country and enjoy the flight times (arrive by noon on first day and able to stay at resort til late morning on last day) and the non-stop. I am also concerned about the high gas prices and this price was too good to pass up.

Newport News VA ( PHF )-----> MCO rt $345.00 total for 2 people on Airtran
Sept 20 returning Sept 26

I wanted the non stop flight and luckily Airtran had a sale on the day I booked our WDW trip so I did all in one day. Just wish Sept would hurry up and get here

Flying American nonstop from Dallas to Orlando Sept 22-30th for $212.10/person including taxes.

The same day I bought tickets for our May trip and paid $257.10/person roundtrip nonstop on Air Tran from DFW to MCO. The same ticket on American Airlines (also nonstop and for about the same times) was $651.10. I usually wait until about 45 days out to buy airline tickets, but with gas prices going up I was afraid to wait this year.

:thumbsup2 we haven't gotten tickets yet looking at Sept. 10-16 Air Tran from Bloomington,IL to MCO right now fare is 242.40 per person......I'm going to check the prices on Delta also! thanks for the tip! :surfweb:

Philadelphia to MCO-Non Stop/Dep 8/21 return 9/2 total $205.00-Southwest..

Waiting for A Ding! for this fare....should be sometime in June/July

Hartford to Orlando on Southwest, non-stop both ways
August 20 - 26
2 for $283.10, 2 for $305.10, 1 for $5 - Rapid Rewards award
total: $1181.40 for 5 - averages out to $236.28 each - way more than we wanted or have ever paid on Southwest - still hoping for a sale or a DING

air on April 15th. DTW to MCO, August 22-29th, roundtrip, nonstop on Spirit for 177.10 per person (includes all taxes). I normally book air much farther in advance but we only decided we were going again this year when the free dining came out. We were there last August with free dining as well. Now just counting down the days!

IND-MCO, August 13-20,
Departure (One-way): Southwest, $89.30pp with fees
Return (One-way): AirTran, $103.10 pp with fees

I'm used to paying no more that $113 RT pp. I usually hold out until May for an August trip, but the anxiety of these gas prices was killing me and also my times being booked up!!! Oh well, at least I was able to put one of the tickets against my airfare redemption with my mastercard.

I switched my dates and bought tickets yesterday. The four of us will be flying out of BWI on 8/19. Returning 8/26.

Flying AirTran, nonstop both ways.
Total..$588.20

129/pp plus taxes through the disney/airtran special :woohoo:

August 17-22
BOS-MCO
JetBlue / Nonstop
$177 Rountrip including all fees and taxes :cool1:

Sept 16-23, Charlotte, NC to MCO (non-stop) on US Air

$221.00 per person, purchased in early March

IAD (Washington Dulles) to MCO
09/14/06-09/22/06
United non stop
Round trip $192 Per person

I bought the tickets 2 weeks ago and they are now 202 per person on travelocity

9/9 to 9/16 and bought on 4/3/06.

Newark to MCO $197.10/pp including taxes on JetBlue. Price has already gone up $10/rt pp so I'm not sure I can expect it to drop any. This is the highest I've paid in several years, and it's during hurricane season.

2 Adults from Harrisburg International to Orlando 1 stop $250 pp I think US Air not sure. We are going 8/16 - 8/22.

I booked 2 tickets Montreal, Quebec to Orlando(MCO) Aug 16-22 nonstop Air Canada..... $504.21. I wish they were cheaper but atleast I don't have to pay the other 4 tickets because I won a trip for 4 to disney.

This is from JFK NY to Orlando, paid 167. each for the 3 of us. I think I got this the same week I booked the free dining (woo hoo! :woohoo: )! I was holding off purchasing our flights to see what Jetblue prices would be for mid Sept, even though I had already seen AA had 157/pp RT out of LGA back then (or was it 147??). Regardless, I am paying a bit more than AA to fly from a slightly closer airport, on an airlines that we trust will get us there on time! We paid only 135. on Song last year for our Oct trip, but I was not expecting the same prices this year. I felt any price under 200/pp was a good deal for us. Sure beats the time we paid 400/pp during Prez week in Feb!
