Who all applied for the WDW Mom's Panel today? Let's get a DISer on the Panel!!!

Ok, I'm about to lose it. I have submitted my carefully thought out application (I waited until the last day because I wanted to hear what the big announcement was yesterday) and my "favorite tip" is not being accepted due to "inappropriate content" I have even edited it down to the bare essentials and it still won't go. I'm at my wits end. Here is what I originally submitted:

My favorite vacation tip, for parents especially, is to plan something for just the two of you. WDW offers many child care options, from the Neverland Club to the recommendation of “Kids Night Out” for in-room babysitting service.

I recommend something the kids wouldn’t be interested in anyway (you don’t want them feeling left out!) Some suggestions include a signature dining experience, made even easier with the DDP (California Grill is one of my favorites,) an evening at Jellyrolls or some relaxing Spa time at Saratoga Springs. You want everyone to have a Magical Vacation – including yourself!

Can anyone figure out what's wrong????

Try wording it without as many parentheses and shorter sentences. Maybe the extra characters are triggering something.n I got that on one of my versions, since I tend to use a lot of those. I removed them and it helped.

Maybe it doesn't like the word SPA!

I got the same message. I think mine might have either been the "whip" in Dole Whip or Adventureland. Maybe it did not want us to mention their copywrited terms???? Another thing I did was to just log out and back in and start over. LAst year it wouldn't let me enter at all and I contacted technical support. They sent an email back allowing me to enter via email. Keep trying! I know it is frustrating!

Thanks for the help, but I have actually whittled down my response to "My favorite tip is to plan something just for the two of you, without the kids." and it still came back as inappropriate! I sent an email to customer support and to the Moms Panel themselves pleading my case. Hopefully they will hear my plea!

Now I have to get ready for work and won't be back until after the midnight deadline has passed. Ah well, here's hoping!

Oh yeah, and I had even tried removing the word "Spa"! LOL

If they are announcing the new panelthe 1st of November, then that leaves them with 6 weeks to narrow it down to the second round, then to the phone interviews and then the announcement. I would think that we should know something in the next couple of weeks. Anyone who went through this last year, does this sound about right?

I just searched some threads from last year...looks like October 17th e-mails were sent notifying those that went onto the next round. So, if that's the case for this year then we less than a month to wait, and wait.......

Last year it took a few days for all the notifications to go out to the 2nd rounders. Even we rejects got an e-mail, even though the web said they wouldn't.
