Hey! We are planning a trip in June. It’s been 4 years since we’ve been, but we previously went in October. Any pointers on what parks to schedule/reserve on which days? We are going on a M-Th. They obviously haven’t posted their operating hours yet. What should we pack for June (besides ponchos and extra water)? What should I have reserved/purchased by now? Any other tips for visiting in June would be appreciated! Thanks!

There have been some good threads about going in the summer if you do a search. But I recommend UV umbrellas during the summer.

We go a lot in early June, and we should be there June, 2022 too!! woohoo! generally we're there the last week of May, first week of June, and we've had many, many days when the feels like temp is 100 or more. It can be HOT. We've also seen temps be more moderate the week after we leave. at least twice, the week after we were there. feels like temps were in the 80s.....So it might not quite be Aug temps, but it'll probably be hot, and probably be wet some days. Just be prepared for possible, hopefully short, downpours, and heat! We also need to still get tickets/park reservations. Have had our room booked awhile.

We have done numerous June trips, but who knows how June 2022 will compare to previous pre-covid Junes.

But…

1. We’ve seen reasonably mild temperatures in June, but also absolutely miserable heat and HUMIDITY that time of year. Be prepared with brimmed hats, light clothing, etc.

2. Thunderstorms aren’t uncommon. Umbrellas and ponchos.

3. Make your resort reservations as soon as you can, and check back often to see if there has been a rate decrease or a new discount you can take advantage of.

4. June is great for swimming, so you might want to consider pool availability in your resort choice, and proximity to the pool in your room preference.

5. Make ADRs as soon as you can.

We travel frequently in June & will be there June 2022. I plan on hot weather. For park days, I don’t know that there is a right and “wrong” any more except I try to avoid DHS & Epcot WS on weekends. That just a personal preference after many trips.
We have everything booked: airlines, hotel (BLT), town car, tickets purchased/booked. I also have our park days reserved. I’m a planner though. 🙂
