We have never been here before. Any info would be apprecaited. Food examples?

I have PS but if it isn't going to be worth it I can cahnge to somewhere else.

Thanks

A warning: Be sure you know what to expect. We have eaten here a few times. Just back from WL last week and had dinner here one night. It was a bad night.

We are used to the loud volumes and craziness(we enjoy them) but this time there was a server(w/ a tiger on his hat) that screamed at the top of his lungs the entire time we were there. I mean SCREAMED, Yelled, Shouted, Hollered. He had the entire restaurant do the Hokey Pokey 3 times in 15 minutes. We found it to be a bit over the top this time. I can take a lot but the contant screaming this time was too much.

Hi Ampooh,

Do a search on this board and you will find dozens of threads, and hundreds of opinions, on WCC.

Enjoy!

Bob

We have eaten there twice. We will not go back again. The food was marginal and overpriced. The atmosphere was OK.

We love this place! Breakfast is our favorite meal, but we love dinner too!

I know which server you are speaking of and he is loud!!

we did not have him as a server but we had a good time here

what to expect? I know that if you ask for ketchup you'll get a ton, if you drink your drink too fast, they'll bring you a pitcher with a straw. What else?

We are staying at WL in Oct and I wanted to eat here our first night. I want to make it lots of fun for my DS7 (and DD5).

Thanks.

Chilihead,

As I said above, do a search. You'll find out a lot from previous posts...but you don't want to spoil the surprise, do you?

LOL..we must have been there the same time. We were at WL June 8th-14th and ate at WC 2x. The first time was in the very back and away from everyone. The next time was in the main area with the tiger hat guy right next to our table! He was loud, but it was fun when we were there. The kids really really liked the 2nd time.

We just came back from WL and ate there twice. I thought the food was good. I had the New York Strip once and the Pork Chops the 2nd time. My DH had the meatloaf (and said it was the best meal he had all week) and a pasta dish with chipotle sauce. I'm not sure he really cared for it. The all you can eat didn't really look too appetizing to me. Both meals ran right around $95 for 4 of us (2 adults/2 kids) with appetizers and desert. Can you tell we were on the Disney Dining Plan? I'd go but be prepared for a noisy, loud, fun time. Be sure to ask for ketchup and straws.

i love WC
i ate there several times during my last visit
the food was great
the amtopshere is so fun but do you research its not for everyone

My favorite part of Whispering Canyon is walking by it on the way to Artist Point---
Don't go if you want anything in the way of a quiet, relaxing meal. The servers shouts of "YI HAh" and the thump of serving trays being banged on the floor echoed in our ears for several days.
As did the sight of some adult male just deciding to ride a stick-horsey around the restaurant well after the kids had done it. Had his own table of other adults convulsed with laughter--had me wanting to cry.
