We decided to give whispering canyon a try for breakfast. How is the food? Good for 6 and 3 yr old?

TIA

My 7 year old had the kids skillet and ate numerous Mickey waffles and slices of bacon, along with some eggs and sausage. Great value for my DS. My DH had the adult skillet (it's the same thing) and enjoyed it just as much. And if they have the mango smoothie, get it, so good!!

With the skillet do you get more items or is it a sampler...if that makes sense. Trying to decide if i want to order one, another person in my party orders something small and can split the skillet.

From what I've read, you aren't allowed to share the skillet. It's meant for just one person.

Well I understand that but it's not like I am not gonna share with my 2 year old. It's the same when I share a coke with my husband. When it comes down to it I don't think a waitress will come to the table and scrape all the food back on my plate and sit at the table to make sure no sharing takes place, or who knows they could just kick us out. I'm paying OOP at this restaurant and it is not like I am ordering off the kids menu as an adult. And maybe not "split" per-say but pick off the plate.

If you get the AYCE platter they will bring out an appropriate amount for the table to share. They will keep refilling it at your request. You will be charged appropriately per person eating from the platter. If you get pancakes, for example, and sample something off the platter someone else gets, they aren't going to charge you twice. They'll charge one person for the platter and one for the pancakes.

Ate breakfast here for the first time a few weeks ago and it was good! My 3 males got the skillet. They brought a huge trough out for them to eat from. I had the eggs benedict. I can't pass that up if it is on a menu. I did swipe one of their waffles. YUM!
