On the dinner menu is the Canyon all you care to enjoy skillet eligble for DDP table service credit?

Yes, and it's good! We were also given the option of subbing another appetizer for the salad that usually comes with the skillet. My DS12 chose the nachos instead of the salad. It was A TON of food!!!! We were stuffed beyond belief after that meal!

I expect that it was some generosity on the part of a CM. Lots of folks report the CMs going above and beyond to make guests happy, making exceptions like that. Of course, guests shouldn't expect that they individually will be able to experience the same generosity as every other guest...

I was actually surprised that she offered. We didn't ask at all. We all ordered the skillet, and she said "Do you want the salad, or another appetizer instead?" I was surprised that we had the choice. My DS likes salad, but when he found out he could get nachos, he was all over that!!

BTW, the salad there is HUGE, fresh and really yummy. It was great to have nice fresh veggies in Disney. We found that we ate alot of meat and potatoes on this trip, and the fresh veggies were few and far between. I was actually craving a good salad, and this one fit the bill!

If you buy the Skillet are you allowed to take a box home if you don't finish t all, or is it like a buffet and you just eat what you can and then that's it? Would I hate to waste so much food!

Sorry, but no, you cannot "doggie bag" the skillet or any AYCE option.

That's not allowed, BUT you can ask for your dessert "to go" and eat it later (or for breakfast! )
