We are going to be at WDW Sept 20-27 and want to check out the Wilderness Lodge. We have aPS for the Wisp. Canyon for dinner but after checking out Deb Wills site and seeing the menues we prefer the lunch choices (and the prices). What are the hours for lunch here and do we need a PS for lunch on a Sunday afternoon, probably around 2:30 if they still serve then. Thanks

BUT i HATED the food the ribs arent the typical ribs around the world they have a kinda game taste to them not what i expected at all.

We love the WCC. We especially love it for breakfast and lunch! It's a lot of fun, plus the view of the WL lobby is amazing. The BBQ brisket sandwhich is our favorite. It's out of this world! It usually isn't too crowded at lunch, but it wouldn't hurt to make a PS - just in case. I'm sure they are still serving at 2:30p.m. If you do have to wait, they will give you a pager and you can explore the WL lobby.

My 4 yr old dd and I had lunch there about 2 weeks ago on the day we arrived to stay at WL. It was really good. We ate there about 2:00 (I believe they serve lunch til 3 or so), wasn't busy at all, highly doubt it'll be busy for lunch when you're there. Most people are enjoying park time during that time of the day and September is probably the slowest month.

I had a chicken salad sandwich on some delicious type of foccia bread, yummy. DD had the chicken fingers. They do they're regular "embarass you" type of stuff there so watch out:D

DD kept grabbing my arm everytime "the man with the hat" (who reminded me of Curly from the 3 stooges) would walk near us and start shouting. It was pretty entertaining though, kept distracting her from asking me over and over when we were going to see Mickey and Minnie:D

And let me tell you, if you've never been to the WL, you'll really want to stay after checking it out!!

Oh, I so totally agree! Yuck!!!! The herbed baked chicken was very tasty though, and actually came out of the kitchen hot!

Thanks for your replys, I think we will just take our chances and not make a PS. We are going to be at Epcot for the pin event so it is hard to know when we will be ready to leave, guess we will just plan on leaving around 2 or so. We have been trying to check out the wilderness lodge for 3 visits now so this is a must this visit!
