At the WCC, there is a small seating area just off the main restaurant. Can anyone tell me if they still use this at mealtime for those looking for a slightly quieter meal?

Are you talking about the area that's right in front of the fireplace--kinda in between the two sides? That's where we sat when we visited WCC and yes, it was quiet, but we couldn't see if there was any antics or anything else going on elsewhere in the place. Plus, it was like 200 degrees in front of the fireplace on a nice, HOT day in April! I liked WCC and I LOVE the looks of the hotel, I'd go back.

Stayed on the 7th floor last week and watched the WCC every morning and evening, from what i observed, they only seated in that area when the dining room was full. It was vacant most breakfasts but it was more crowded for dinner and there were people seated there. Its so fun there, my son absolutely loves it, we sometimes will go there just for dessert! And I dont like the attention, and they seem to sense it and leave me alone!!!!

Thanks for your help. I knew it was there, just was not sure if they still used it or not. When I went for lunch one year, I mentioned to the CM seating me that I would like a table off to the side, as I was not really interested in participating in all the antics. The table was near the opening to the other little area, but not in it. The CM was very nice. I had my book out on the table, placed my order watched the antics a little, then dove into my book. The CM came by several times to check in to make sure everything was good, but also respected my wishes of not participating. Left her a good sized tip for that.
