Whispering Canyon Cafe-anyone remember no antics?

A few months after WL first opened, back in 1994, we went to WCC and there were no antics. Anyone remember that? Or did we just go on a couple of "dud" nights? I always wondered why we didn't experience any antics. Anyone else back then?

Not sure about back then but we went for lunch Dec 07 and didn't have any antics at all. That was okay b/c we had fun anyway seeing how many ribs we could eat.

We had no antics in September 2008 (to go along with really bad food and horrible service) at dinner time.

I think there's probably a "magic mixture" of the right servers and amount/age of people in the restaurant that probably works the best.

For instance:
Not busy, mostly adults = not so many antics
Not busy, lots of kids = antic-tastic
Fairly busy, but not busy enough where wait staff is overwhelmed = antics galore
Super busy, any mix of people = better to feed them than entertain them

I could be wrong, but it makes sense to me.

antic crazy at all 6 times....good food too
