that should say "AM I OVER THINKING" tooo much on my mind with only a few days left hhehe

We have an ADR for for dinner when we are there... the more I think about our plans the more I am thinking my son "who is 14 LOL" won't find anything to eat while we are here... He is a very plain eater, spagg, chicken strips, plain meat such as steak or chicken with no sauces etc.

Should I cancel my adr or do you think he will be ok...

WCC has some of the plainer food at WDW. They've got a plain steak with mashed potatoes on the menu, roast chicken, etc.

Remember, you can always ask to have sauces left off, or sides substituted. All WDW restaurants are very accommodating.

I agree with the PP that he should be able to find something he likes at WCC. Their food is very good, but very basic. If not, there may be another option. In my experience, the WDW restaurants are pretty good about letting an older child order food off of the children's menu so he might find something there he likes. With a 14yo son I'm thinking that he would need two kids' meals (I have one too...they eat a lot!) so I would guess the restaurant would have no trouble with him getting a kids' menu meal(s) instead of one from the adult menu.

We had lunch there almost 2 weeks ago and we didnt like the food at all...the meats were just way too fatty and greasy for us...the cornbread is great though!

The boys next to us had chicken fingers and mac n cheese so he can eat those if he cannot find anything else on the menu...

My mom loved the steak there, she said it was better than the fillet at Jiko:confused3. It appeared to be just a lightly seasoned grilled piece of meat, no sauce. I think he'd be okay with that choice.

Thank you!! I am starting to freak out as we get closer.. :confused3 I guess I just want everyone to have a great trip and the last thing I want to do is argue over food for the week we are there LOl

if all else fails he can order off the kids menu... 3 more sleeps till we leave!!! :cool1:

You know those "jitters" you're getting - hoping everyone has a good time? Relax...you will have a better time then you ever imagined! You'll have so much fun, be caught up in the magic, and realize you really did "over think" a lot

I did that the first time...I over thought EVERY detail, and drove myself nuts. When I learned to relax about it, we all had a better time. Everything was so much cooler, so much more fun, so much more exciting then I even imagined....and those details I worried about so much - were all for naught!

:) Disney rocks...you'll have fun - and find everything works out okay in the long run. Go with the flow, and know that you'll be in a nice relaxed state of mind once you get in "vacation brain mode"!

Have fun - I see you have just a few days left

I agree, relax.....Don't try to make it perfect...there are going to be bumps along the way and you just need to take them in stride and move on. Have fun!

Just ask for an adult size portion of a kids meal. Most TS restaurants will do this for you-my DS 12 is the same way and is way too big for the kid size portions.
