Did anyone catch the sneak preview of this one?
I'm kind of on the fence. Think the show as potential, but the "pilot" wasn't so hot.
Basically you get a loved one out of the house and a designer, his/her team and you get to re-do a room for the loved on. As a "twist" you are asked questions that your loved one has previously answered and if you get the answers right you get some nice prizes (that would go with the room), if you get the answer wrong, you get a "booby" prize. While I liked the idea of getting extra stuff, I didn't think the "game show" aspect of the show worked.
In the initial episode, a working mom sends DH away to visit a friend (who's in on it) for a couple of days. Designer and the team come in to redo the family room (DH is a stay-at-home dad). I wasn't that thrilled with the designer. Although the room came out pretty nice. (I think because the wife was able to give lots of input -- one thing I liked over Trading Spaces).
Like I said, the initial episode was only so-so, but it has potential
