While reservations are down, can we call the resort hotels directly to book a room?

We wanted to go on Friday and stay through Sunday, and was dismayed to see reservations aren't being made today (and possibly tomorrow?). So I wondered if we could call the resorts direct?

And if so, does anyone know the best way to get the phone numbers?

Actually...now that i think about it you might. If only the CRO system is down, you could probably book a walk in...the resort system is obviously still in operation because they gots to get da money!!!!

I would assume that the system is operating as it always does...it's just not connected to the mothership.

Calls to the resort do not actually go to the resort, but to a central center - those operators answer for the resort and do not usually out a guest through - though it could be worth try.

If it helps, the reservation systems are supposed to be working again tomorrow morning.

The information has been on the www.disneyworld.com site for several days.
