Which would you choose?

Going in December...6 people..Me, DH, DM, DS18, DD17, DS13. Would like to stay as close as possible, will have a rental car, so if needed, can drive to parks. I know everyone here likes the HoJo, but it and the Tropicana are both booked up for when we are going. My narrowed down choices are: Desert Palms, Embassy Suites South, Camelot, Hampton Inn, Anaheim Marriot Suites, and the Residence Inn Suites.

Any reviews on this lot of choices would be greatly appreciated.

We've stayed at Hampton Inn twice. Its very comfortable and clean. Great complimentary breakfast. The ART picks up just across the parking lot in front of the Embassy Suites. There is a parking fee. We booked through Getawaytoday.com and got our 3rd night free and parking was included. It ended up being $250 for 3 nights at Xmas.

We have stayed at the Residence Inn Suites. Very spacious, close to DL, plus you have afridge and microwave in case you want to get extra snacks or munchies. enjoy your trip

I have stayed at the Camelot and really enjoyed it. Room was great. We had a 1 bedroom suite with kitchen. Pool did not look good, so we did not use it. Good view of fireworks. I would stay here again if the price was right.

I loved the walk. I just would not give up an easy walk even if I had my car. The ease of mid-day rests, or just needing to go back to the room for something is priceless to me.

I've stayed at the desert palms before, very close to the park. Walking distance. It's very nice, we had a one room suite with a seperate living area. Theres a restraunt and convenience stores close by but I think its a bit priceier than the other ones you listed. Id say for the same quality, you can get something cheaper.

Another vote for the Camelot. Close,and great place to watch the fireworks.
