Trying to figure out where to use our last 2 TS credits.

Epcot Day---
1. Rose & Crown or Coral Reef? (never been to either)

Typhoon Lagoon Day---
2. Cape May Cafe dinner or Kona Cafe breakfast (been to KC dinner before, never been to CMC) We would either have an early brekkie at KC or leave early from TL to go to CMC.

Decisions, decisions......

I would definitely choose Coral Reef for EPCOT day and Kona Cafe breakfast. My friends and family all love Coral Reef. The atmosphere, food, and service have been awesome every time we visit. We were VERY disappointed when we could not get into the place for our upcoming trip.

As for Kona, I went there with my family last year to try the Tonga Toast!(It was amazing, BTW!) We loved the atmosphere at the Poly and we all enjoyed the food. We went on Good Friday and it was very busy, so you may want to make an ADR. Despite the crowds, we had great service.

I've never been to the other two places you've mentioned, but I absolutely love Coral Reef and Kona breakfast!

I would choose Coral Reef. We've been there twice...once good, once not-so-good. We've never been to Rose and Crown but plan to go eventually.

I would also choose Kona Cafe'. I've never been to either but Boatwright's used to have Tonga Toast (they called it something different) and it's delicious. We plan on going to both Kona Cafe' and Cape May on our next trip.

Gotta agree w/ the previous posters. Coral Reef is a unique experience, while Rose & Crown is just pub food. Cape May Cafe was one of the real dissappointments of our last trip. Never had breakfast at Kona, but I've heard a lot of good reviews, and dinner there was great.

I will go against the grain and say Rose and Crown, hands down. While Coral Reef is a cool atmosphere, we've never had a good experience there.

I would also go with Kona for breakfast though. :thumbsup2

Just our opinion, but we haven't had a meal that was much good at the Coral Reef in ages. It's luck of the draw, of course, but we've found the staff to be rude and the food portions ridiculously small for the price.

Rose and Crown, on the other hand, is one of our favorites. "Pub Food" ??
Well, maybe... But, really tasty English pub food served by some of the friendliest employees in all of WDW. It doesn't truly feel like Epcot to us until we are having a meal there....

And, I'd go with Kona for breakfast, maybe allowing yourselves a little time to wonder around The Poly and take it all in....

We were disappointed in the Coral Reef. Food was so-so and the service was just OK. Never been disappointed in Rose & Crown. Kona is great for breakfast but since you have been there, why not try somewhere new? Cape May is the standard breakfast buffet but alot of fun with the characters in their "beach gear." We always try to experiment with at least one different place each trip.

We enjoy the Coral Reef when we go, but we we decided we wanted to try something different for our upcoming trip and we are going to R&C....I have been wanting to try the fish and chips for a long time.

For your TL day, I would definately go to Kona. We went there for breakfast the last time we were there and LOVED the Tonga toast. My DH liked the breakfast so much that he wanted to try it for dinner this time around.

Having been to both Rose & Crown and Coral Reef, I can only offer the following advice - the atmosphere at Coral Reef was great, but the food was just average. Rose and Crown has better food - but don't get the lamb - it was just OK compared to the meals that others at my table had...have you ever tried Restaurant Marrakesh? It was by far the best TS that we had last year - a great varied menu and fantastic entertainment!

I have never been to Kona but the Clambake at Cape May was great!

We've been to all 4 and we like Coral Reef (Filet) and Kona (tonga toast and regular breakfast items were yummy too)

I'd choose McDonald's over Coral Reef (much better service), so I'd say go to Rose & Crown.

Kona for b'fast.

DW is semi-British (okay, she's Canadian) and we both love the atmospher and the food at Rose & Crown. It really is a mini-British escape.

Count us among those who had a very poor experience at Coral Reef. We had a lunch ADR there and while we didn't wait long to get a table, the wait for service was unacceptable. It took over 1/2 hour for someone to take our order, and once we ordered our appetizers, it took over 1/2 hour for them to arrive at the table, then another 1/2 hour for someone to take our entree order. And, as others have said, the food portions ridiculously small for the price. We definitely wouldn't return.

On a brighter note, Kona Cafe for brekkie is great. I'd definitely add that one to your itinerary.
