Which would be faster to get to after Wishes?

On a night when Wishes is taking place at 8:00pm, if DH and I were to watch the show in the park and head out for a 9:00pm dinner reservation afterwards using one of the resort boats...which do you think would be faster/easier to get to:

The Grand Floridian or The Wilderness Lodge?

I think it's probably a toss up, depending on which boat is there, but the GF is closer and I'm pretty sure that the boat goes there first before the Poly.

I think I would just take the monorail to the GF.

Thanks. I'm pretty sure they go here first also. Last trip we took a boat from the Poly to the MK and GF was the stop in-between the two, so I'm assuming it would be the same on the return trip.

I'm planning on taking the boat only because I've seen the monorail station right after Wishes lets out and . I just like to keep my options open. If it's crazy crowded for the boat, I'll take the monorail...or vice versa.

Well the Grand Floridian is the first stop when taking the boat there from the Magic Kingdom, however when taking the Resort Monorail the Grand Floridian is the last stop among the Monorail Resorts.

As for the Wilderness Lodge they have another boat which goes there, however they also have a bus and I think the bus might be faster if the boat is not already there.

GF is going to be the fastest to get to....boat directly there. The monorail will take about 20 mins, once you get on it.
To get to WL, you either have to get to the CR and then boat to WL from there, or take the boat directly from MK.

It all depends on which boat is there. And there's no way of telling before you get there. Choose a restaurant that you like and then just head there after Wishes.

I think the bus to WL would be the quickest if it is there - it's about a 5 minute bus ride.

Thanks all! After looking at menus DH decided he'd prefer AP over Narcoosee's, so to WL we'll go! Glad to know there is a but and a boat. Our ADR isn't until 9 so I'd guess that would be fine after an 8 o'clock showing of Wishes.
