Which water park - Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon?

We are planning a water park day and can't decide which is better. We'll be there the last week of September. Going on a Thursday and hoping for short lines. Which park has which features? Waave pool? Lazy river? Slides?

We have been to both water parks and I would have to say it kind of depends what your group enjoys and the ages of the people going. We prefer TL because it offers shade---there is no shade at BB. Both parks have a lazy river, wave pool, and slides. But we feel TL is a better fit with younger kids. Older kids and daring young ones will like the thrill slides at BB. They also have a great family tube ride. We had fun at both water park but TL is our fav.

I'm with Minmouse. Our fav is tl because of the shade, the ambiance is more relaxing, we like the shade and the wave pool is neater. Teens who love thrills will prefer bb however.
