Which view is better at AKL?

Tomorrow I'm going to be booking my Nov. 2008 honeymoon at AKL and at first I was just going to do the standard view. After realizing getting a pool view wasn't that much more I think I should go for it. Is that a good idea? I'm just worried a pool view might be a little loud if theres lots of kids screaming. Is it still better than looking at the parking lot (doesn't that just scream romance? lol)

Its only between those 2, Savannah would be great but it pushes us out of our budget.

I've never actually stayed at AK (yet, we will be staying there in November for the 1st time). I have heard that if you are not getting a Savannah view, it doesn't matter which view you get because the resort itself is so beautiful and there are so many animal viewing placing all around the resort.

Also, for our vacation this year, we had originally booked WL in a standard view room, and then a code was released (in August). When I called Disney, I got upgraded to AK, with a Savannah view and bunkbeds, for aproximately $150 less than we were paying for the standard view at WL.

So, I would go ahead and book the cheapest room at AK, and keep an eye on these boards. Everyone here will let you know when the November 2008 codes come out, and you can call Disney back then and hopefully receive a discount on your package. But if you dont get a code, you are still staying at one of the most beautiful resorts and will still be able to get great views of the animals.

I would spring for the pool view. All the pool view rooms do have a very nice view, ask for an upper floor if you can.

The main reason I think they're worth it over standard view is the distance from the restaurants, food court, lobby and busses to your room will be reasonable. Some of the standard view rooms on the non-pool wing can be a waaay long way away from anything.

For a honeymoon, you should treat yourself to a little something special! I honestly wouldn't mind a pool view room over a savannah, it's very convenient.

Whatever you do, don't skip the hot tub. Wonderful!
