We're headed to WDW in June 2008 with approx. 15 people. There will be 5 kids (between the ages of 5 and 1/2 to 14 months). Any suggestion for which of the values would be best for us? Our plan is to head out to the parks early and then come back mid-afternoon every day for some pool/rest time and then back out again for dinner and stay until the parks close. I don't know if that helps with a recommendation or not.

Thanks!

Jen :)

I you are wanting a value then I would suggest POP Century. We stayed there in 2005 and have it booked again for 1/2008. We loved the theming of this resort and the food court was great. POP doesnt share busses with any other resort and I think the All Stars do share with each other. POP is also a newer resort. Have fun wherever you book your vacation- you will be at Disney so everything will be great!!

I also love Pop.

but in your situation maybe All Star Music Suites would be best. these units have a kitchennett to help with food costs. they sleep 6 not 4, so you would 2 of them plus one regular room.

I agree with the PPs in two regards. One, I would recommend Pop because of the buses and I feel like it's less "crazy" than the All Stars. Two, if you are a family of 5+, look into the All Star Suites. They seem pretty nice!

i would take allstars..its smaller then pop its only 3 floors pop is 4 you wait for elevaters for a long time in the morning and the resort is huge..loooonnnnnggggg walks to everything unless you get the 50s building..allstars you can resort hop and see alot more then pop ....its nice to walk to the other rsorts like movies or music just for a change.of view.

I agree if your looking for value and not "room" then POP is the one but if you are looking to put more than 4 people to a room then the Suites would be the way I would go.

I would either go POP or Movies. I hate the sports, but either one of the others you'll be happy at.

Have a great trip!

Pop rocks.

Seriously, Pop Century is by far my favorite Value... it's the newest, got great theming, and the buses are never shared (at some times, the All-Stars share buses).

I just came back on Friday from ASMO. We had a good time. The resort is perfectly themed, and the food court was adequate. The rooms are small. With 15 ppl, I may consider doing 5 rooms. The rooms are very small. The pools are gorgeous and the kids will love them. The busses are efficient, but more often than not are packed. Either DH or I stood several times, but IDK if POP would be better:confused3 I do know that I never shared a bus w the other A/S in the morning, on the way to the parks, just on the way back from the parks

Thanks for all the great responses!

We are split in the following:
my family of 4
my sister's family of 5
my parents
my aunt, her partner and daughter (possibly)
my sister's MIL and BIL

We looked at the cost of the suites versus the 5 rooms and it was a lot more money for the suites. So we're going with 5 rooms and not a suite.

How do the food courts at the All Stars compare? I've heard wonderful things about the one at Pop.

Thanks!
Jen :)

:cool1: I have stayed at several of Disney's Resorts with the last one being at the WL and I dont think that any resort compares to the food court at All Star Movies. That is where we are staying at this 10/12 - 10/20. My son is 10 and he would rather stay there than any other resort. The buses are really not bad at all, except for the ride back after a park closes. Buses at WL were horrible
