We've never eaten at any of the US restaurants. This time I thought we'd have dinner in US, then watch Universal 360. Which do you think is the best restaurant in the park? Which WDW restaurant would you say it most closely resembles in terms of food quality (not necessarily food type) & atmosphere? Speaking of the show, would we have a good view from any of the restaurants? We watched the fireworks from Mythos once, & that was great. :teeth: Thanks again for humoring me with all my questions. :)

I looked at the menus & like Lombard's better. How is it? How about viewing the show? Thanks again :)

Lombard's Landing would be my choice at US and definitely Mythos at IOA.

ditto. Spent New Years outside on the deck with hot chocolate and some good friends after a phat meal :cloud9: @ Lombards.Nice.

Thanks for the input. :) We'll go with those 2. :thumbsup2 Can we see the fireworks from Lombard's? Is there any tips we need to know about dining there? Thanks again :goodvibes

Great! :cool1: I'm making our reservation, as soon as they're available. :hyper: That's 60 days, right? Should we ask to be seated in a certain area? Thanks again :)

Mytho's is one of the best restaurants we've even been to! It really is on par with the top restaurants here in the city. The food was also very moderately priced, and just delicious! And the atmosphere can NOT be beat!

At Universal Studios I would go with Lombard's, but the food at Universal really wasn't that good.

When it comes to CityWalk, you can't beat Margaritaville!

DH & I have eaten at Lombard's a couple times, and we really enjoyed our experience. Both the service and our meals were excellent. I don't recall ever being close to a window, tho.

We also love the fish & chips at Finnegan's, but I don't think you'd be able to see the lake (we always sit and eat at the bar, and I know there's no windows to the lake there).

I really can't compare either of these to WDW restaurants. I would presume they're similar to Raglan Road & Coral Reef, but we haven't eaten at those places...yet :)
